Guidelines will be framed to regulate feeding in a way that protects both pigeons and public health. A scientific study will assess health impacts and explore technical hygiene solutions. Consultations have also taken place with former Union Minister Maneka Gandhi ji. State Government and MCGM will present their stand in the High Court, where a writ petition is being heard and if needed, the Supreme Court. BMC has been directed to set up and maintain aviaries for long-term management and care.
