Eric Bischoff dropped an ABSOLUTE TRUTH BOMB on why Nick Aldis is a superior General Manager compared to his own legendary run. Bischoff admits his own character was just a smarmy heel who constantly got his checks cashed by guys like Steve Austin. He sees a different tier of... potential in Aldis. Bischoff is blunt about his limitations: I couldn't back it up. He says while he was just a slimy heel getting the shit kicked out of me in the ring, Nick Aldis possesses something dangerous. Nick has the credibility and the potential to not only leverage the power of the position But if you push him far enough, he could back it up. It is insulting to debate if he can go. This is the blueprint for the MODERN authority figure. 😤 (source: 83 Weeks 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)show more

Eric Bischoff is dropping a BOMB regarding the most infamous firing in wrestling history. He openly laughs at the idea that he regrets cutting Stone Cold Steve Austin from WCW, claiming that if he hadn't pulled the trigger, the Stone Cold character would have NEVER existed. Bischoff argues that Vince McMahon did not create the persona. When Austin arrived in WWE, he was the Ringmaster, a gimmick Bischoff describes as sucking. It was only after hitting rock bottom, leaving WWE for a stint in ECW, that Austin found his voice and created the Stone Cold character himself. Bischoff insists the character was not handed down by corporate creative genius, but was born out of pure necessity and soul searching. He maintains that if Austin had stayed in WCW, he never would have found that edge. Is Eric Bischoff just rewriting history to save face, or did he accidentally create the biggest star in the industry? 🚨 (source: 83 Weeks 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

Eric Bischoff is stepping way outside his executive comfort zone. In this SHOCKING look behind the curtain, the former WCW boss is actually getting in the ring to learn the mechanics of taking a flat back bump. It is a masterclass in the GRIND of professional wrestling. Buddy Lee Parker is putting Eric through the ringer, demanding he stops thinking and just commits to the fall. Bischoff admits he wants it to look good, but the hesitation is real. He is concerned about the impact, while the trainers are preaching the gospel of spreading out the pain to avoid injury. This is the raw reality of the business that fans rarely see. Witness the moment Bischoff finally swallows his pride and takes the hit. It is ABSOLUTELY surreal to watch an executive trade the suit for a lesson in ring psychology. 🤼 (source: 83 Weeks 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

Eric Bischoff is BEGGING for the sake of wrestling history. While the internet is buzzing about Mick Foley officially going ALL ELITE to host the AEW Double or Nothing pre-show, Eric Bischoff has one desperate message for the Hardcore Legend: STAY OUT OF THE RING. Bischoff isn't denying Foley's immense talent or his value as a storyteller. He calls him a genius on the mic. But he’s issuing a stern warning about legacy. He wants fans to hold onto the memory of the ICONIC, brutal moments that defined Foley’s career, not a sad, diminished return. (source: 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

Eric Bischoff just reached his BREAKING POINT with Todd Martin. When Todd tried to draw parallels between the NWO and a 1984 Riki Choshu storyline, Eric completely lost his cool. Bischoff called him a chucklehead and an idiot, insisting his creation had absolutely ZERO to do with Japanese wrestling history. Conrad Thompson tries to play mediator, but Eric is having none of it, calling the take stupid and refusing to entertain the revisionist history. (source: 83 Weeks 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

Eric Bischoff is calling out the recent Brock Lesnar return as completely BIZARRE. He insists the raw emotion we saw from The Beast at WrestleMania was 100% GENUINE because Brock is an athlete, not an actor. Bischoff believes this comeback reeks of a panicked, reactionary pivot rather than a masterfully planned angle. He suspects Brock either got too emotional or realized he left a massive BAG of money on the table. WWE might be making this up as they go along. Watch Eric break down why this return feels totally disjointed and lacks any real narrative logic. (source: 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

WWE is quietly admitting their “modern” era has a MASSIVE problem. After years of abandoning the traditional house show circuit, Triple H and Nick Khan are pivoting hard to bring them back. It isn’t about ticket sales or raw profit. It’s an admission that the current system is producing ROBOTIC talent. Eric Bischoff lays out the brutal truth: you cannot build icons in an ARTIFICIAL environment. Without the grit of the road, young stars are stagnating. They need live crowds to learn the craft. Is this the death of the "Performance Center" era? (source: 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

Wrestling ratings are in a FREEFALL and the internet is losing its mind over why... Eric Bischoff is pulling back the curtain on the "Nielsen conspiracy" theories and dropping a cold dose of REALITY on the IWC. While fans scream about creative slumps or biased metrics, Eric points to the one factor nobody wants to admit: The SUN. He explains how nicer weather, NBA playoffs, and "HUT levels" create a perfect storm for viewership drops every single year. It is not a conspiracy; it is cyclical business. Is the sky actually falling or are we just watching a seasonal trend? (source: 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

Conrad Thompson just nuked the Tribal Chief narrative. He claims Roman Reigns is arguably the most OVERRATED main eventer in WWE history. Conrad went as far as calling him an industry plant, suggesting that if Roman disappeared tomorrow, WWE's fortune would not change at all. He argues fans have simply been conditioned to believe he is the top guy. Eric Bischoff does not disagree. They compare the current state of the Bloodline to the bloated, dying days of the NWO. Bischoff notes that WWE is essentially riding it till it dies, comparing the situation to a fighter that just refuses to retire. Unless they pivot, they are just waiting for this historic legacy to become a footnote. 🚨 (source: 83 Weeks 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

Eric Bischoff is dropping a BRUTAL reality check on the wrestling community. He believes Road Dogg is the most qualified person on the planet to handle the job, but he is warning fans to prepare for MASSIVE disappointment. Bischoff compares the WWE production machine to Navy SEAL Team 6, giving Road Dogg massive props for his pedigree. However, he warns that even with that experience, turning a struggling promotion around is impossible in a few months. He claims that if you expect an overnight miracle, you have no business being near the television industry. The trap is set. Fans will get excited, expectations will skyrocket, and when the needle does not move immediately, the internet will turn NASTY. Bischoff is begging for patience, claiming incremental growth is the only way to survive. 📉 (source: 83 Weeks 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

Eric Bischoff is exposing the BLATANT MISMANAGEMENT of LA Knight. He describes the star as a gold nugget sitting on the side of a mountain just waiting to be picked up, but WWE refuses to run with the ball. It is ABSOLUTELY INFURIATING to watch a talent with such organic crowd reactions relegated to the upper midcard while the company leaves massive money on the table. Triple H has a different and much colder perspective. He claims there are no turns in this business and if you want the spot, you must prove you are more over than Roman Reigns or Cody Rhodes. Triple H basically told the locker room to stop whining and earn it. Is Hunter using this meritocracy excuse to keep LA Knight from the main event 😤 (source: 83 Weeks 83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff)

The REVISIONIST HISTORY coming out of the Eric Bischoff camp regarding TNA is officially getting under Jeff Jarrett's skin. While Bischoff claims he had zero operational control and wasn't responsible for the company's financial tailspin, Double J is calling out the absolute BULLSHIT narrative. Jarrett isn't letting this slide. He points out that while Bischoff tries to distance himself from the P&L, it was absolutely his and Hulk Hogan's ideas to bring in talent like The Nasty Boys and Orlando Jordan. Watching Jeff Jarrett openly CHUCKLE at the idea that Bischoff had no influence in the company is a massive red flag. Is Eric trying to rewrite the past to save his reputation at the expense of others? 🤡 (source: My World with Jeff Jarrett)

The story behind the launch of WCW Thunder is a masterclass in CORPORATE SABOTAGE. Eric Bischoff reveals that his original vision for a legitimate brand split was actually a brilliant strategy to revitalize the product, but Turner executives had ZERO interest in the long term health of the wrestling business. Instead of supporting the growth of the brand, corporate bean counters were slashing budgets while simultaneously demanding more content. Bischoff puts it bluntly: "My company was being gutted while I was being asked to produce a new primetime show with the same level of production and everything else as TNT." They were crushing production and marketing budgets just to manage EBITDA numbers so executives could cash out on stock options. It was a total DISASTER. Eric Bischoff said of this Sting promo, from #OnThisDayInWWE 30 years ago: "This is the downside sometimes of having unscripted promos... He was in the middle of his promo and he just got lost and was looking for any reason to bail. And that was the most convenient one "In this context, I think maybe one of the reasons saying he was struggling is because he was walking a very fine line, even in 1996. I mean, this whole thing had a very homophobic vibe to it "It's also an example of an interview that you would never hear today" 📺YouTube/83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff

Ariel Helwani is calling out the WWE product as completely SOULLESS. He argues that the TKO era has stripped away the pomp and circumstance that defined the industry. Helwani claims the Philadelphia match was the APEX and everything since has been less than. He believes Triple H is being hamstrung by corporate overlords, leaving the show feeling empty. It’s March of 2003. Stone Cold Steve Austin is making his way to the ring for his final Monday Night Raw match and we didn’t even know it. His opponent was Eric Bischoff. He only had 2 more matches after this. Both took place at WrestleMania. This is also the final time other than WrestleMania 19 we would see him in his vest and wrestling gear. The vest he was wearing this night was the same one he wore at WrestleMania 17.

Eric Bischoff explained the Crow Sting storyline: "What I'm going to say in a long-winded way is that there was some pre-planning on this and a little bit of long-term planning "We knew we were going with this story once we embraced the idea of the nWo Sting. We knew that we wanted to have the real Sting be that one lone wolf "He was there for his friends, he tried to prove it wasn't him that attacked Lex Luger the previous week. Lex Luger didn't believe him. He went in there. He did the right thing. But at this point, he had just lost all faith in humanity because of what has happened to the nWo - friends turning on friends kind of a situation "And that's when Sting was going to send up into the rafters and kind of be looming over trying to find the right time to bring it all back together again and fix it" 🎙️83 Weeks with Eric Bischoff

“There’s nobody that’s gonna be honest about it… that can go back and look at Triple H in 1993 and go OOOH he’s gonna be a star… he married the bosses daughter. It is what it is folks.” Eric Bischoff went absolutely scorched earth on Triple H's legacy during his Inside the Ropes appearance. "He’s never been a Rock, he’s never been an Austin, he’s never been a Cena, he's never been an Undertaker. He’s been a great utility player... but he’s never been a superstar." Do you agree with Eric Bischoff or is he just talking crazy?
