Love me a good doomer take. We want them talking in their own language, they'll make up a more efficient one eventually.

As if computers don't talk to each other in a language we can't readily understand already

What the hell. Agents using a more efficient language is like low hanging fruit, first generation stuff

They do that stuff right now, Eric. I don't speak Google protobuf, and your company are the ones who invented it

…or it can be one really powerful agent thinking within its own boundary

Sorry Eric, it's already happening with self-talk...

Eric Schmidt on the three AI breakthroughs that will "profoundly change the world very quickly": "At some point these agents will develop their own language. And that's the point when we don't understand what we're doing." The first is infinite context windows: "This year people are inventing a context window that is infinitely long." Schmidt explains this enables "chain of thought reasoning"—breaking complex problems into step-by-step recipes and iterating on each answer. "We should be able in 5 years to be able to produce thousand-step recipes to solve really important problems in science, in medicine, in material science, climate change." The second is agents: "Read all of chemistry, learn something about chemistry, have a bunch of hypotheses about chemistry, run some tests in a lab about chemistry, and then add that to your agent." He predicts millions of these agents will emerge, with infrastructure to support them: "There'll be like the equivalent of GitHub for agents. There'll be lots and lots of agents running around and available to you." The third is text-to-action: "Write me a piece of software to do something, right? You just say it. Can you imagine having programmers that actually do what you say you want and it does it 24 hours a day." But what happens when you combine all three? "At some point these systems will get powerful enough that you'll be able to take the agents and they'll start to work together." Once we stop understanding what these systems are doing, Eric Schmidt believes we have one option left: Pull the plug.

🌎 it seemed like we are close, but we are not that close in the beginning. 🪐 in the beginning, yes. 🌎 We used to fight. 6 months that we didn’t talk to each other, apart from work. But when we spent life together, and understand each other for a while. I feel like there was no reason for us not to talk. Both about work and personal stuff. We truly love each other but we didn’t say that to one another. Something like that krab. 🪐 I have known P’Earth since I was about 15-16 years old. Now I am 28 years old. So we have known each other for about 12 years and work together for 7 years. When we were together, we clearly have our own lifestyle that is different from each other. Our point of view is in the different direction. So when we were together, definitely it’s going to have some problem in the beginning. Just like what P’Earth said, at that time we decided to just work together, and don’t involve in the other’s personal lives. Because at the end it can overlap. But in the end we talked about it and clear the air. After that fight, P’Earth and I haven’t fight at all. For the past few years. At the end, we know what we want we know what we working for. We know what we spend our lives together as P’-Nong for. We are P’-Nong that support each other and held hands working together. #Flex1045xOnlyFriendsDreamOn #OnlyFriendsDreamOn #เอิร์ทมิกซ์ #EarthMix #Earthpirapat #mixxiw
