Load of malarkey. My teams (hundreds) produced way more, more efficiently and were much happier working from home. Now. This is industry specific. Even role specific. But for developers, marketers and analysts… we got way more bang for our buck letting folks work from home.

Talked to Google a few years ago about interviewing. Didn’t do it, but they said they had carefully studied how to get the most out of employees. > 45 hours a week of high level work wasn’t sustainable over the long term. Long hours are fine for grunt work only.
