I code with AI everyday. I have a hard time believing that “most” devs are gone in a year. Instead not even most programming will yet be done by AI. Likely, many will be using AI to accelerate their work, but this idea that all the programmers are just going to disappear is pure hype.

This is just the latest scare tactic from the elites who can’t handle the rapid changes happening under our noses. AI might replace some jobs, but don’t expect it to outsmart the American spirit.

I heard this earlier and could definitely see this becoming a possibility. Although I truly believe Ai is best used as a tool and will always need human interaction/prompts.
