Fili puppetry is on a whole nother level The puppeteers been doing this since the 80s!

I love the backstory for Thunderbolt's production: Urobuchi went to Taiwan for vacation, saw a puppet show and immediately fell in love with the whole genre.

I honestly love how Miè Tiān Hái is just like: “Yeah this’ll be an easy win.” But then Dān Fěi is actually like doing some actual good moves and he’s just like: “Hey, what the heck”.

TM Revolution being the reason I even knew Thunderbolt Fantasy exist. Almost no promo for it outside of niche circles for some reason. Also, Uro's works at Nitro+ is basically why he's got that reputation. Hard to change that when that's what's he's most known for.

When you realize that "Shang/Sho (Edgeless Blade)" can actually end it right there and now but, he is too lazy to do. See video at 07:20 - 09:55. Still waiting for Season 4 and the Film.

Now I'm reminded of Wulin Warriors.

Asia is miles ahead in puppet based entertainment. The West can't even get a proper muppet show on tv.

I still think Season 1 of Thunderbolt Fantasy is my favorite but the other seasons have some great twists and turns as well. The final few reveals in S1 are probably still my favorite tho for how back to back they are.
