"Essentially no CEO should be taken seriously by the media, going forward, because they all stand to gain or lose billions of dollars in business depending on the sorts of deals they can strike in Mar-a-Lago."

And those Mar-A-Lago deals will involve money or crypto going into trumps pockets as a condition of the deal. He’s running an extortion racket.

Here’s what could get more expensive with Trump’s new tariffs.

Uh, if this means they no longer need to talk to the press, then I bet they regard that as a win.........

False

The media should not be taken seriously by anyone else because of what they stated to gain or lose with Mar-a-Lago.

That’s exactly how mercantilism used to work back in the 1700s. Is all about what can the ruler get from those who need protection. Is an illusion that somehow all US companies can be run that way from a centrally managed office. Long term those left out will seek by force

One of the most garbage takes as an “economist”ever. More information about a problem is always better.

Trump is playing The Godfather, but unfortunately this is not a film and Francis Ford Coppola is not directing. If CEO’s and other business leaders must kiss up to Donald Trump, open their wallets and agree to his tyrannical demands to function, this is no longer a democracy. Actually, we lost that when we lost due process. Republicans members of Congress are complicit in this mess and if they are admittedly afraid of retaliation from Trump and Co., for speaking out against his regime, they must resign. They are violating their oath to uphold the constitution.

Isn’t that a bit… I dunno… radical?

Don’t interview the CEO. Check the flight log.

CEOs are responsible for many workers. They have the responsibility to generate as much revenue for their companies as possible because that’s how employees get paid. How damn dumb are you? Oh, you’re a Socialist. So, we already know you don’t understand math.
