Pradeep Bhandari just expose the truth behind Anand Ranganathan's "10,000 litres of water" claim. Many people think this means ethanol plants use 10,000 litres of water to make 1 litre of ethanol. That is not true. Modern ethanol plants use only about 3–5 litres of process water to produce 1 litre of ethanol. Most plants also use Zero Liquid Discharge (ZLD) technology, where the water is cleaned, recycled, and reused instead of being wasted. Did a simple ethanol check myself yesterday! Watch it till the end! Took 170 mL of E20 petrol, added 20 mL of water, shook it well, and after the layers separated, the water/ethanol layer measured 40 mL. That suggests roughly 20 mL of ethanol in 170 mL of fuel around 11.8% ethanol (roughly E12), not E20. If my calculations are correct, then I have a genuine question: has the ethanol content quietly been reduced from E20 to E12 temporarily because of a widespread backlash? or is there another explanation for these results? Either way, this also shows how readily ethanol attracts water and what moisture inside a fuel tank can potentially do over time. Happy to be corrected if my calculations or the test method are wrong!! ☺️

Hello please disregard this particular submission❗️❗️❗️ 🛑 Water contains no amount of ethanol(like 0 amount ), so drinking it cannot increase your blood levels of alcohol. 🛑The presence of O-H bond in water and O-H in alcohol (ethanol) doesn’t mean they are similar. 🛑O-H bonds is just a covalent bond between and Oxygen atom and Hydrogen atom. It is present in several compounds such as Carboxylic acids(eg. acetic acid CH3COOH), alcohols(eg. ethanol CH3CH2OH) , water(H2O), carbohydrates(glucose) and even inorganic hydroxides such as KOH. (Basic chemistry). 🛑The mere fact that two compounds contain O-H bond doesn’t mean they are similar biologically and chemically. 🛑Water and Ethanol are chemically and biologically different and water doesn’t contain alcohol! #RxPatoa ❗️

India lacks the infrastructure to store and transport ethanol-blended petrol. There is no benefit from ethanol. People are unhappy, and yet the govt is forcing E20 on the country.. why? PM Modi is importing large amounts of ethanol from the USA under Trump's pressure. Hence, E20 is being forced upon the people to create a demand for USA's surplus ethanol.

I don't know who this Doctor is…. But Joy Prime and our media stations can do better…. Water has zero grams of ethanol, so drinking it cannot raise your BAC (Blood Alcohol Level) or result in intoxication. Water and ethanol are chemically and biologically distinct. The presence of hydrogen and oxygen in both molecules does not make them interchangeable or behaviorally similar.
