🚨ETHEREUM VALIDATOR EXIT QUEUE HITS ZERO: NO ONE IS WAITING TO UNSTAKE! The $ETH validator exit queue has dropped to zero, meaning there are currently no validators waiting to unstake and exit the network. This shows extremely high confidence in $ETH staking, with demand so strong that new validators... show more

There are currently no Iranian women inside of Iran, in a queue to be executed. Three women are on bail, waiting for due process and two were released without charge. The rest are AI generated images. Donald Trump is an insane liar and a spreader of disinformation.

With Alpenglow, there will be no onchain voting anymore for achieving consensus. This removes the cost of including votes into blocks. However, in order to avoid abrupt change in economics for the validators and maintain same equilibrium, there is an ongoing discussion for this Solana upgrade to have a small form of incentive (like a tax) where the validators will have to pay to be part of the system next epoch. When determining the set of validators for the new epoch, the fee is deducted, and if a validator cannot pay the fee, they are not included in the next set of validators. Here is the writeup: Listen to the full episode for more details on Alpenglow!

A long queue has been outside the ticket office all day as people continue to struggle to access the new club accounts. A staff member has been placed at the back of the queue for the last hour or so telling people who are about to join that they will likely not get seen to. One person with mobility issues we spoke to had been stood in the queue for four and a half hours. #SAFC

Core DAO's biggest DeFi platform release update on staking Core DAO 🔶 suspended staking reward emissions yesterday after a recent malicious validator attack. This suspension applies to all Core staking, including b14g, dualCORE, stCORE, and direct validator staking. In the meantime, users may experience 0% APY with no additional rewards. According to b14g, users' funds are 100% secure. b14g users need not take any action in regard to their b14g funds. The problem has been resolved, and malicious validators can no longer collect extra rewards. b14g will keep users updated on any further developments until emissions start again.

Just finished an absolute monster of a podcast with Justin Drake, and it’s packed with brain-melting insights on the future of Ethereum. Here are the juiciest takeaways from Part I 👇 Ethereum’s future could turn the L1 into a rollup itself and making it the best type of rollup. Justin lays out how the L1, L2s, and new designs like Beamchain, native rollups, and based sequencing all come together into a unified vision for Ethereum as the credibly neutral internet of finance. What’s Broken Today • L2s are siloed — synchronous composability is dead. • Most rely on centralized sequencers, multisigs & slow exit bridges. • L2-native assets break Ethereum’s trustless bridge model. • Governance delays, security councils, & EVM reimplementation = attack surfaces. The Fix: Ethereum-native Infrastructure • Based Rollups: Use Ethereum L1 validators as the sequencer. Removes centralization risk, restores censorship resistance. • Native Rollups: No more reimplementing the EVM. No more Security Council multisigs. They inherit Ethereum’s execution layer by design. •Preconfirmations: Users get fast UX (e.g., instant trading feedback) via ETH-backed inclusion guarantees from L1 validators, with slashing if they lie. • Real-Time ZK Proofs: Slot-by-slot proving is here. ZK-enabled rollups with instant finality are becoming possible. To get there, Ethereum is moving toward real-time, slot-by-slot proving using ZK SNARKs. This enables constant-time verification and removes the need for validators to re-execute blocks. Native rollups use a new EXECUTE precompile to introspect and reuse Ethereum’s state transition function. There is no EVM emulation, no governance lag, and no reliance on Security Councils. Preconfirmations offer ETH-backed execution guarantees per slot, priced to offset MEV opportunity loss, while based rollups decentralize sequencing by aligning with Ethereum’s validator set. Beamchain pushes this vision further: a clean-slate Ethereum L1 design that is post-quantum secure, radically simplified (validators could run on a Raspberry Pi), and ossified through optimality. It proposes gigagas/s throughput via ZK proofs, validator statelessness, and Attester-Proposer-Separation (APS) to maximize decentralization and censorship resistance, allowing Ethereum L1 to scale as a high-performance rollup itself. If you're building on Ethereum or betting on its future, this convo is mandatory listening. To be continued in Part II....

Cat is thrilled to announce the launch of $MEOW staking starting today! 🏦 Zeek coin stands out as the first 🥇 community token on ZKsync that rewards users with ETH for staking their $MEOW tokens Here's a quick breakdown of the distribution mechanism 👇 🔸 ETH rewards are distributed over a 28-day period 📅. Every month, a pre-determined amount of ETH will be transferred into the staking vault, ensuring a stable and predictable APR 🔸 Each new cycle commences with the tax fees accumulated from the previous month 💰 🔸 There are no deposit or withdrawal fees imposed 👍 🔸 Upon withdrawal, a user's tokens are subjected to a 10-day lock 🔒. During this phase, the user's accumulation of ETH rewards is paused as well. Let the staking games being! Meowwwwwwwwwww

Most $TAO holders staking right now are trusting the wrong validators. Not because they are careless. Because nobody explained what the numbers on the Validators page actually mean. There is a tool inside Taostats that shows you exactly which validators are genuinely working and which ones are collecting your emissions without contributing anything to the network. It is free. It is live. And almost nobody is using it correctly. Here is exactly how to read it. Step 1: Understand what Dominance actually measures. Dominance is not popularity. It is not a ranking of which validator is best. It describes a validator's Stake Weight as a percentage of all validator stake weights combined across the network. Stake Weight is calculated as: root stake multiplied by 0.18, plus all alpha staked across subnets converted into TAO. Root stake is deliberately discounted at 18 percent of its face value. Alpha stake carries the full weight. This means a validator with deep subnet-level staking is structurally more powerful than one sitting purely on root, even if their raw TAO numbers look similar on the surface. When you see a validator with rising Dominance over time, it is not just getting more popular. It is getting more alpha stake directed toward it across active subnets. That is a meaningful signal about where serious capital is moving inside the network. Step 2: Check the Take percentage before you delegate anything. Take is the percentage of emissions the validator keeps for itself. Everything above that number flows to you as a nominator. A validator with a 18 percent Take keeps 18 percent of the emissions their position generates and distributes the remainder to stakeholders. A validator with a 50 percent Take is keeping half of what your stake earns. Most people never look at this number before delegating. It is the first number you should check. A high Take is not automatically a red flag if the validator is genuinely performing well and contributing to the network. But a high Take combined with low VTrust in their subnet performance page is the exact combination that should make you move your stake immediately. Step 3: Open the Validator Performance page and find the VTrust score. This is the number most holders never see. VTrust measures how closely a validator's weight assignments align with the honest stake-weighted majority across the network inside each subnet they operate in. Validators are responsible for evaluating miner output and assigning scores. Those scores go into Yuma Consensus and determine which miners earn emissions. A validator doing genuine evaluation work will have weights that align closely with the honest consensus. High VTrust. Consistent emissions. Reliable nominator returns. A validator that is weight copying, meaning they are simply copying the Yuma consensus scores back onto themselves rather than doing real evaluation, will show a flagged return on Taostats. Their nom/24hr/1k TAO score appears in red. This is Taostats telling you directly: this validator is extracting value from the network without contributing to it. When you stake to a weight copying validator, you are funding a free rider. Step 4: Watch the 24hr Nominator Change column. This number moves fast and it tells you something before any other signal does. A validator losing nominators over consecutive days is a validator that informed stakers are quietly leaving. A validator gaining nominators rapidly while their VTrust is healthy is a validator attracting attention for the right reasons. The 24hr column is the on-chain version of sentiment before sentiment becomes a narrative on social media. Step 5: Check Active subnets alongside Total Weight. Active tells you the number of subnets where the validator has a parent or child hotkey running. A validator with high Total Weight but low Active subnets is concentrated. They are running a specific strategy in specific markets. A validator with broad Active coverage across many subnets is building a wider surface area for emissions and is more exposed to the overall network performance rather than any single subnet cycle. Neither is inherently better. But knowing which type of validator you are delegating to tells you what you are actually betting on when you stake. Step 6: Check the Weight Change column over time. Total Weight is a snapshot. Weight Change is momentum. A validator with stable or growing Total Weight over consecutive days is attracting net new stake consistently. A validator with declining Weight Change is losing stake faster than it is gaining it. Most people look at the current number. The people positioning correctly are watching which direction the number is moving and how fast. The difference between a good validator and a dangerous one is not obvious from the outside. It is not the name. It is not the size. It is the VTrust score, the Take percentage, the nominator trend, and whether Taostats is showing their return in red or not. Every one of those signals is sitting on the Validators page right now. Free. Live. Updated every block. The investors who read the data layer before the narrative layer will not need to explain their staking decisions later. Open Taostats tonight. You will want to find this post when you do.

"In my opinion the Ethereum network is much more secure in the long term. There's no obvious way to do a Bitcoin-like attack on it" Duke Professor Campbell Harvey on why you can't pull off the Bitcoin attack on Ethereum "This is important because most tokenized assets reside on either the Ethereum blockchain or Ethereum compatible blockchains. But Ethereum has a different method, there's no mining anymore, it's proof of stake. You'd need to take over at least a third of the existing Ethereum, and that turns out to be really hard to do" "Much of the Ethereum is staked, there's a huge queue to go into staking and not much to actually come out. About 65% of the supply is available to unstake, so to get a third you have to buy over half of the existing supply. That's going to be very expensive and would drive the price of Ether up dramatically" "The same trade we talked about for Bitcoin, where you buy the equipment and short the Bitcoin, doesn't work for Ethereum. Because you're buying the Ether, and then if you're selling, it's a wash. So there's no obvious way to do a Bitcoin-like attack on the network"

Sentience FSD says “hold my beer” and shoots a 6-inch gap between a pickup and the guardrail to escape a blocked exit lane 😱 At 27 minutes in we’re trying to get over three lanes for the upcoming exit. Traffic slams the door shut, so instead of waiting like a peasant, Mad Max just invents a new lane on the right, threads the needle between a full-size pickup and concrete barrier at 65 mph, and pops out ahead of everyone who closed us out. Zero hesitation, perfect centering, no scrape. On 14.1.7 this would have sat there crying. 14.2 just sent it. Is this the most aggressive exit move FSD has ever pulled, or have you seen worse? All-Sight caught every pixel of that insanity.

This is one of the dumbest takes I’ve seen in a while. Gainzy said SUI is worthless because it’s “centralized.” Let’s break that down: After the Cetus hack, Sui validators froze $162M from the hacker. But they weren’t forced. Each validator chose to block the wallet using a config file. No one was told what to do. Now the community will vote what to do with the funds. Sui Foundation won’t vote. Only validators and holders through delegation. That’s not centralization. Ethereum reversed a hack. Solana paused the chain. Bitcoin had a bug that printed 184B BTC. Also, this guy says Sui only pays KOLs While he’s getting paid by PumpFun to stream. Every chain has paid creators or systems like Kaito to have more mindshare It’s called marketing

Ethereum is officially transitioning to a monopoly L2s are finished, $ETH monopolizes smart contract rails In my mental framework, $ETH is a value index of smart contracts. It has network effect (most wallets), economies of scale (60% stablecoins are tokenized on ethereum) and proprietary technology (100% uptime). It's early days to talk about value capture because no token has really pumped because of utility the past 10 years, it's mostly the social value that creates fomo which created the pumps. Ethereum is the symbol the OG crypto anarchist social value, and vitalik.eth and the Ethereum community keep pushing for that. This community can't be replaced with Solana or BNB's community, which is a real moat that Ethereum has. One can argue Bitcoin has similar or more hardcore anarchist community, yes, this is why $BTC is number one and $ETH is number two. But over time I believe Ethereum's upside is far better because smart contracts enable it to scale its community via use cases/Apps like stablecoin and DAOs. Despite Thomas (Tom) Lee (not drummer) FundstratDirect.com buying 5% of $ETH that OG ethos of Ethereum is not going to change to the "enterprise chain" ethos because of the $ETH community and vitalik.eth. $ETH $BMNR

Introducing Our “Yap-to-Stake” Program Operating validators has a high barrier to entry on most chains from a technical as well as a capital perspective. Thus, the validator landscape today is dominated by just a few privately owned staking-as-a service providers, with many of these privately funded at sky high valuations. A select few of these operate most of the major alt-L1 blockchains today. ValiDAO’s mission is to democratize access and exposure to the upside of the the PoS consensus layer by enabling anyone to share in validator revenue—even if they lack the technical or financial means to run their own validator. Today, we're launching our referral model. With our referral links, those who attract delegations to ValiDAO earn a portion of the validator revenue based on the stake they bring in. This allows people to benefit from their ability to attract stake without minding the backend operations, all while creating value for ValiDAO. Win-win. Revenue share will continue in perpetuity: onboard stake today and earn a stream of income resulting from your stake forever. Right now, this is in beta, but it is open to anyone willing to participate. If this is something that interests you, please leave us a DM.

ETHEREUM stuck at $1860-$1955 range for a reason. The real $ETH Bull Trap is just getting started. ETH will first rally into the $1,900–$2,000 resistance zone. Then the real capitulation begins. My roadmap: 1. Rally to 1,900–2,000 2. 7–10 days of distribution 3. Final bottom test in the $1400–$900 zone (DCA) 4. Then the start of a new bull cycle, target $7,000 There’s a chance we’ll wick a candle to update the 2022 minimum and sweep liquidity I see a lot of hate toward Ethereum - this is done to disillusion the crowd After that, whales will pump positivity around $ETH when the price hits a new ATH. Vitalik Buterin explains why proof-of-stake is more secure than proof-of-work “I think proof of stake is very secure because to attack the system, you need to have basically as much stake as the rest of the network. Right now, for example, we have 5 million ETH staking, which means you have to come up with 5 million ETH and then join the network.” At the time of this writing, more than 37 million ETH are being staked, with 3 million ETH waiting to join via the validator queue. At today’s prices, that’s more than $80 billion of ETH someone would have to acquire to attack the network and revert finalized blocks, which is more than the cost of attacking even the Bitcoin network by some estimates. The other defense mechanism that proof-of-stake has that proof-of-work doesn’t is slashing, which makes Ethereum antifragile. Vitalik explains: “Recovering from attacks is much easier in proof-of-stake than proof-of-work. For many kinds of attacks you do against [the Ethereum] network, we have this concept of automatic slashing. In order to revert a finalized block, you basically have to have a big portion of your validators sign two conflicting messages. This is something where once these messages are on the network, you can go and prove ‘these people did it.’ So we have this feature in the protocol where you basically take all these people who provably misbehaved and you burn their coins.” Vitalik also acknowledges the possibility of censoring attacks, where if 1/3rd of validators refuse to attest, the chain can’t finalize. But, as he explains, Ethereum has a contingency plan for this as well: “Everyone who got censored would create a minority chain, and the community would have to do a soft fork. The would have to say, ‘this chain is clearly attacking us and this one is not attacking us, so we’re going to join this chain.’ Then what happens is, on that new chain, the attackers also lose a lot of coins. The difference between proof-of-stake and proof-of-work is that in a proof-of-stake system, you can identify specific participants — and this isn’t a human going in and saying ‘I don’t like you’. It’s all automated.” One last benefit of proof-of-stake is that security scales with the value of the network. As Vitalik put it five years ago, it is really relative security, and not absolute security, that matters: “The security needs of a thing have to be proportional to the size of that thing, because as a thing gets bigger, its enemies become bigger and more well-motivated. If BTC were 100x as big as it is today, the value from destroying it would be 100x higher, and the kinds of actors that would want to care about destroying it would be much bigger and scarier. This is also why countries of all sizes have roughly similarly sized militaries as a percentage of GDP. Hence, cost of attack divided by market cap really is the correct statistic to measure, and in the long run issuance-free PoW really does look not that good." Source: Lex Fridman (Jun 2021)

If you do anything today, please listen to this 3-min clip on what Co-CEO Joseph Chalom refers to as The ETH Opportunity... FYI, Joe is the former Head of Digital Assets Strategy at BlackRock, who drove the creation of IBIT, ETHA, and BUIDL. "The more assets and transactions that are secured on the Ethereum network, have been proven to increase the value of ETH..." "If you look at the last 5 years, for each $2 secured on the network, on Ethereum and the L2s, it's driven about $1 of market cap value of Ethereum [ETH]..." "And if you take a step back and say stablecoins are at this size today, but Treasury Secretary Scott Bessent says it's gonna grow to a trillion over the next 3 years, if you look at the adoption of RWAs, which is in the first inning and can literally go j-curve, the value of tokenized assets which could be measured in the trillions or tens of trillions... they are gonna be secured by a decentralized network. We believe the vast majority is gonna be Ethereum. That is a bull case for ETH..." "If more assets are secured on the Ethereum network, the value of ETH will go up, and the value of it being a trust commodity, the highest value of money, is gonna be critically important if you believe we are at a paradigm shift, and that's what I call the ETH opportunity. It's not a trade, it's an ETH opportunity." "And for all of those who feel like they missed the early days of crypto, you are at still a very early entry point in the adoption of Ethereum and that is the long term ETH opportunity, not the ETH trade." My 100 second elevator pitch on ETH to tradFi. Bitcoin is 1 asset - just bitcoin. Ethereum is all possible assets. Which is bigger? Gold...or all the assets in the world? Bitcoin was designed to secure one asset, just bitcoin. Ethereum is a general purpose platform designed to secure everything else: stablecoins, loans, equities, bonds, derivatives - everything in finance. The word for this is: Tokenization. People like Larry Fink are saying every stock, bond, and asset will be tokenized on a global ledger. And even he's thinking too small - tokenization isn't just the assets of the past it's the assets of the future - AI compute, personal data, social status & celebrity. Everything will be tokenized. Ethereum is a global computing network to tokenize and program any asset. Ethereum adds property rights to the internet. Tokenization can and will happen on other platforms, but Ethereum is positioned the strongest contender to ride the tokenization wave. 100 million people own ETH. 100 thousand developers actively contribute to the code. Already, Ethereum settles more annually than the Visa network…and it’s just getting started. Now let's talk about ETH. The cryptocurrency of Ethereum is called ETH and has investible economics, including an algorithmic buy-back and dividend program that drives billions per year in earnings to ETH holders. This number grows as the network expands. You can build a DCF model on ETH as you word with a stock like Nvidia. And because ETH is extremely secure and decentralized like Bitcoin, more and more people are seeing ETH as a compliment to Bitcoin as a non-sovereign store of value. While bitcoin has greater certainty of supply, Ethereum pays a dividend and is deflationary, with the upside of the entire token economy. Bitcoin is exposure to digital gold. Ethereum is exposure to everything else. I own both. But if I could only pick one, I'd pick the superset. I’d pick ETH.
