One of my favorite news anchors Palki Sharma sums up perplexing actions of Ethiopian PM Abiy Ahmed in this piece on Vantage detailing his record of war and turmoil since ascension to power a mere 5 years ago. The Oromo refugee community in Puntland is facing deportation, with their shops and belongings being taken away. Puntland authorities have labeled them as terrorists and believe they should not remain in their state. It's actually very heartbreaking to witness the unfair treatment these refugees endure, including forced evictions, torture, and illegal detention.
