Eugenics ft Warwickshire Council 🤦‍♂️

Note the expression "these people" as though young people with additional needs are lesser beings. One part of the "apology" says that remarks were open to interpretation. I think they were very clear & quite openly expressed. The govt has enabled this openness thru their actions

@draevans Appalling that these people, who had no training and no understanding of SEND , are allowed to make discriminatory remarks in a council meeting then vote on issues that impact on SEND children.

Wtf is this?! Speechless! No you’re right they weren’t around in your day! Except they were but you didn’t see them because they were likely held in mental institutions or been seen as the ‘odd kid’ that was bullied in school! Yeah fuck off and when you get there fuck off some more!

Warwickshire and many local authorities operate like this. It's been going on for years. Usually behind closed doors. Yet they keep getting voted in.

That’s appalling. And dangerous that people that ignorant have any decision making power.

The ignorance of these councillors is quite staggering. Do they seriously not have any family members affected? Most people these days know children with SEND and at least try to have some understanding!!
