Students at Musa Gitau Girls High School were denied re-entry after the midterm break as the school introduced stringent readmission conditions amid a countywide crackdown on student indiscipline. Parents were instructed to clear all outstanding school fees and sign mandatory behavioural commitment bonds before their daughters could be allowed back to class, with the administration saying the measures are aimed at restoring discipline following recent unrest in several Kiambu County schools.
