Dominion machines in Ware County, Georgia, allegedly flipped votes from Trump to Biden, with Trump only receiving 87% per vote, and Biden receiving 113% per vote. The media and Dominion's own CEO claimed under oath that the machines did not have internet access when they did. They lied and they got caught. Dominion and ES&S machines were analyzed again in Antrim county, Michigan, and were found to be wirelessly connected to the internet with internal modems chips made in China by Telit, which has extensive ties to the CCP. The media lied again once again claiming no foreign involvement when the machines themselves are almost completely manufactured in China, with Chinese parts themselves. $The AI supply chain has the craziest value cascade of any industry in the world. thinks that over the next five years, the biggest bottleneck to deploying AI will be EUV machines. ASML sells EUV machines for $300-400 million. You need about three and a half machines, so $1.2 billion, to produce a gigawatt of compute each year. So $1.2 billion of ASL and ML machines are producing $35 billion worth of NVIDIA chips a year (and of course those machines can be used over many years). Then those Nvidia chips can generate $100s of billion of token revenue for AI labs. Or think about: over the last three years, TSMC spent $100 billion on CapEx. A small fraction of that went to building the fab capacity used for Nvidia's chips. Nvidia turned that fraction into $216 billion of revenue last fiscal year alone. Relative to the value of the thing they’re producing, TSMC’s CapEx looks crazy small. So why aren’t ASML/TSMC/etc juicing up margins to capture more of the value they’re generating? And why aren’t they scaling up CapEx so that they can take advantage of the crazy AI growth worlds? Dylan Patel says that it’s because these upstream players aren’t AGI-pilled enough. They’re still looking for stable, gentle long-term growth. The insane demand signal is taking a long time to percolate up the supply chain.$

The CEO of ASML said Europe is "quite behind" in the AI race. This is not a politician. This is the man who controls the only machines on earth that can print advanced chips. Every semiconductor fab from TSMC to Samsung needs his approval to exist. And he did not stop there. Europe has been having the sovereignty conversation for three years. Build fabs. Reduce dependence. Catch up. It sounds right. He said it is the wrong order entirely. His reasoning is blunt. Semiconductor manufacturing is only needed if you have people buying the chips. If Europe built a two nanometer fab today, most of those wafers would ship straight to the United States. Because the US buys 80% of the world's advanced chips. Europe buys almost none. You cannot manufacture your way to relevance. You have to create demand first. His actual sequence: start with the market. Build AI applications. Then AI products. Then chip design. Then and only then does chip manufacturing make sense. Europe skipped four steps and went straight to the last one. The sovereignty debate is loud in Brussels right now because of US export controls on AI models. Politicians are scared. The instinct is to build. He is saying the instinct is wrong.
