Tifa fans get the lore from voice actors who never touched the games, so not surprising they cant grasp what the director is saying.

As a person who has been misinterpreted a thousand times in this fandom. I already know explanations usually don’t get thru thick skulls, but I always end up trying anyway.

Yeah I agree with him And I’d say this scene also highlights how those qualities work well together Tifa’s ready to fight with all she has, but she trusts Aerith’s intuition Aerith’s compassion can turn a threat into an ally, but she knows Tifa’s got her back if it escalates

I always thought this scene was because she could read him with her sixth sense, knew he wasn’t a threat and it would be safe to approach to communicate with him! But honestly I don’t see why everyone’s bothered about an answer to a pretty weird question to begin with 😂

Yeah, it’s definitely because of her cetra intuition, or as you put it “her 6th sense” her cetra powers are the biggest factor in the way she handles conflict, it is her, something no one else in the party possesses, this is why her approach is different than Tifa’s.
