Time again for another daily dose of my goofy Loki, aka “Lugnut.” Enjoy his silly goofiness just like we have, and always will. 💙 One of my sweetest memories is how much Loki loved helping his grandpa with the plants, though not nearly as much as he loved playing in the water. The second he saw the hose come out, it did not matter if he was all the way across the yard, he would come running full speed, wagging his butt/tail in his classic Lugnut strut like he was the true master of the hose. He always had to be right in the way, trying to intercept the stream of water, turning something as simple as watering the plants into his own joyful game. The funniest part was that he hated baths, but he never once missed a chance to get soaked with the garden hose. While I do have my issues with the Digital Circus finale, this one scene stuck out to me with incredible reliability. To me, this scene represents what my relationship with Christ has been at multiple times in my life. I had thoroughly convinced myself that I was undeserving of His love and acceptance, and that I’d rather be left alone to wallow in my own misery. Thankfully He didn’t give up on me, and loved me despite my past flaws and mistakes. That’s instantly where my mind went when watching this in the theater for the first time a couple weeks ago, and has continued to stick in my mind since. How blessed I am to have a Savior who will always come for me, to show me His love even when I’ve messed up and don’t deserve it. That kind of love is what pushes me to be more like Christ every day, and while I’m not perfect, I hope to do my best. 🥹

I was detained and subjected to severe torture. They hurt me so badly that I still have internal injuries in my chest and ribs. The pain from those injuries is always with me, disturbing my peace and comfort every day. Sometimes, the pain is so intense that it feels like I can't breathe or move easily. Despite all this, I always seek medical treatment in hopes of healing. I visit doctors regularly, trying to find relief from the pain and improve my condition. Even though I have been through so much suffering, I still believe in Jesus and trust in His love and strength. No matter how hard life gets, I will continue to stand firm in my faith and hope that one day, I will be completely healed and free from this pain. Please keep me in your prayers!

Mark lifting Renjun during the ending of “Trigger the Fever” was always one of my favorite moments that I looked forward to seeing at every Dream Show. Sometimes Renjun seemed hesitant to be lifted by Mark, sometimes he wanted to lift Mark instead, and sometimes he didn’t want to be lifted at all. Those little moments were so precious to me, and they were one of the reasons that made me want to attend Dream Show to witness them with my own eyes. I always made sure to record that moment, and there was only one Dream Show that I missed, TDS4 in Bangkok Day 1, because of the rain. Even though Mark is not my bias, his departure affected me more than I expected. He has been Renjun’s favorite hyung who took good care of him for almost a decade. As a Renjun fan, I could really feel that bond, and I am truly thankful for everything he has done. When Renjun was absent during The Dream Show 3, Mark still mentioned him and even put the Injeolmi on his bathrobe. It was devastating news. But were weren’t ready to give up on him and Tiki wasn’t ready to go yet either. I’m incredibly grateful to my mom and stepdad for helping us give Tiki the best care possible during his final weeks. Thanks to their tireless efforts, we were able to have a few more weeks with him than anyone expected. They are the best caretakers anyone could ask for. Tiki was such a little warrior through it all, even until his last breath. He held on through our anniversary and my birthday, almost as if he wanted to give me one last celebration with him. But today, he let us know, it was time. Nothing prepares you for their departure from your life, especially when they’ve been a part of it for so long. Tiki was there for every milestone of my life for the last 18 years, most importantly when I first met my husband. Many know the story of how he infamously had to pass the “Tiki Test” when we first starting dating and thankfully he did with flying colors! When Tiki crawled up on his lap the first time he met him, I knew he was the one. Tiki chose him too! They became best buddies. Tiki travelled to so many places with me over the years …from late nights in my Capitol Hill office to our road trips back and forth to Jersey in his Giants gear and trips down the shore, to flying back and forth to the Florida Keys (where my mom originally rescued him from and brought him to me) to Harvard for my resident fellowship, to my first apartment to our first house…Tiki has been a part of it all. So many wonderful memories captured over the years that I will cherish forever. Tiki was the coolest, most extraodinary cat and everyone loved him. Although the time with our four legged family members is never long enough…Tiki’s spirit, unconditional love and the joy he brought to my life and Marcelle’s will live on forever in our hearts. He’ll always be a part of me. Having the “Tikster” as my little buddy for all these years will always be one of my greatest blessings. I know he’s up there in kitty heaven enjoying endless “somethings” and purring away. Even though losing Tiki today feels like a piece of my heart has been taken, I find solace in the belief that one day we will be reunited in heaven, where he will greet me with the same warmth and affection and “kissies” he shared with us in life; until then, I will keep his memory alive, embracing the bond and unconditional love we shared every day.

🐾 💔Today, my beloved Tiki, my loyal companion for nearly 18 years, has crossed the rainbow bridge. 🌈 🐾 My heart is shattered, and the depth of my sorrow is beyond words. The void left behind is truly indescribable. We found out in mid-August that Tiki had a cancerous tumor in his lung and there was nothing they could do for him. It would be weeks, not months. ni-ki may be an adult now, but he will always be sunoo’s baby.sunoo may look physically like the maknae, but he will always be ni-ki’s first reliable hyung who took care of him since their I-LAND Ground era. during their debut days, ni-ki couldn’t sleep without hugging someone. so he used to sleep in sunoo’s bed and lie beside his hyung. although ni-ki slept in other hyungs’ beds too, he would wake up in the middle of the night, go to sunoo’s bed, and end up sleeping beside him again. sunoo, being a considerate hyung, let ni-ki sleep beside him even though he only had a single bed. in fact, jungwon once said that ni-ki used to take up a lot of space while they were sleeping, and sunoo would end up sleeping at the edge of the bed 😭. but instead of complaining, sunoo said he still slept well. ni-ki even wrote this letter for sunoo: “thank you for sharing your bed with me. always think of me as your cute little brother. keep on sleeping next to me every day ♡ love you.” ni-ki might tease him a lot too, but I believe that’s how he shows his affection and attention toward his hyung. deep down, he is grateful to the hyung who never made him feel lonely during their debut days. have you noticed how he always stuck close to his sunoo hyung back then? that’s because, among the members, sunoo was the first person he became close to since they were together in the Ground. so it’s no wonder sunoo gave ni-ki a side-eye when he jokingly said that he was the one who took care of his hyung and not the other way around. because, as sunoo once said, no one understands ni-ki the way he does. 🌱 #SUNOO #선우

“We had joy, we had fun, we had seasons in the sun but the hills that we climbed were just seasons out of time… “ Born in 2002 sired by Gaylord (GY) in an army depot. Rejected by the army for his size and to cover up a botched up eye worm operation. This one eyed little horse was auctioned and bought by a tanga wala. A quick phone call from a Colonel Dahiya to a Colonel Ahlawat about the promise being wasted pulling Tangas all his life saved him from that life. The Colonel saab reluctant to sell his wonder baby had to pay EMIs and he came into my life outta sheer destiny and made my life so much richer. I named him Ranji coz of his one eye like Maharaja Ranjit Singh Gaekwar (Ranji trophy is named after him). Due to his free upbringing by the Colonel he turned out to be a free spirited and a naughty child. He jumped out or crawled out of all kinds of stables we put him in. With his childlike vivacious personality there was never a dull moment with him around. Always wanting to be running free. He jumped that way too. He took me flying over many an obstacle, sometimes with my eyes shut for the scare of it and won me many a medal. He was always way superior to my riding skills at the time but he carried me well. Unfortunately he contacted Laminitis in his prime years. A disease due to which most horses are euthanised. I just gave him some time and thanks to Dr Pheroz Khambatta he bounced back and was jumping again. A very rare case. Many a times complications rose in due course and the horrible question of putting him down raised its head. All I said was “let’s give him some time.” He always bounced back like the little tennis ball he was thanks to his loving grooms over the years, Khem Singh, the many Bhoom Singhs, Revat Singh, Megh Singh and Sumer Singh. He finally passed on to the other realm at 23 years old which is like in the 90s in horse years. He still needed two grooms to hold him when taken for a walk coz he was still so full of spirit. He even tried to jump out of the stable on his last night as if he wanted to fly away. And Fly away he did. Heartbroken and almost not wanting to keep horses anymore I bid you farewell my dear trusted friend. My Ranji. We just ran out time brother. 🙏🤗
