And, the way you always keep the most important person for last, the fact that the apogee of his acceptance speech was about Connor.. he had me sobbing, cause of how completely unguarded and raw Hudson is here. The way the emotion is slowly building up, as he is going down that list, his voice cracking a bit, his hands shaking. As a kid, this would have meant the world to me 🧡 During PSG’s warm-up, a young fan was hit by a stray ball and ended up in tears. After finishing his warm-up, Achraf Hakimi went over, checked on him, and gave him his shirt. Safe to say his mood improved pretty quickly after that 😄 I loved this because it was such a simple, human gesture. It's easy to see moments like this as no big deal when you're the one on the pitch. I wanna share a story from #wtrsfminSingapore, the 5th stop of his 2024 world tour. We all kinda knew he wasn't in a good condition that day, after the packed schedule, nonstop shows, long flights… It showed. He looked pale, drenched in sweat. But like he always does, he gave everything on stage. Once he stepped out, it was like his body forgot how tired it was, like being up there healed him, even just for a while. There were some cracks in his voice, and a few songs weren't performed. It was enough to tell he couldn't push much more and needed real rest. Still, he ended the show with an apology for "not giving his best." But honestly? We all felt the same, I believe. He gave more than enough. So much, it made us worry for him. And to make it even harder, before the show started, he'd already been through 1:1 VIP M&G. JARS lining up with different requests, all wanting our own little moment with him. He handled each one with care, warm, sincere joy. Because that's who Jae is. For him, it's never just about himself. It's always about us. This video was taken after the show, when we saw him heading to the restroom. He could've just walked away after that, no one would've blamed him. But instead, he looked at the crowd waiting and said with a gesture, "Come, let's make a line." Still smiling, still hugging each one. Even after everything. I cried. Some of us quietly left because it was just too hard to watch him push through when he was clearly on the edge. But Jae will always be Jae. Even the big, well-built security guards couldn't stop him from showing up for his fans. He's genuine. I genuinely think the Terafab is going to end up being one of the biggest moves ever made in human history to secure the future of AI... and I think most people still don’t fully see what Elon is trying to do here. The signs are clear to me. This is Tesla, xAI, and SpaceX essentially hinting to us that they are not going to wait on the world to give them the compute the team needs. They are going to build it themselves at a scale no one has ever attempted. When you really break it down, it gets a bit nutty. This is going to be a fully vertically integrated chip factory that will be producing over 1 terawatt of AI compute per year. This is NEXT LEVEL BIG. Today, AI is limited by chips. You can have the best models, the best engineers, the best everything... but if you don’t have enough compute, you will eventually hit a wall. Elon told us, the world can only supply a tiny fraction of the chips his companies will need. So this is the solution. Terafab puts everything under one roof like design, manufacturing, memory, packaging, testing, which means that they can build chips very fast.. like really fast. I'm talking about 100-200 billion custom AI chips per year at full capacity. Chips designed specifically for: • Tesla cars and Optimus robots • xAI models • Space-based compute You see, while other companies and CEOs are thinking Earth, Elon is planning for AI in space. Around ~80% of the compute is expected to go orbital, powered by solar energy bc Earth simply doesn’t have enough electricity. The U.S. grid is only about ~0.5 terawatts, while space has basically UNLIMITED energy if you can capture it. rewatching ep 4 for the nth time and I think this is going to be one of those scenes that stays with me for a very long time😭it isn’t just Pete crying, he completely breaks down like full sobbing, barely holding himself together, curling into a ball of grief hiding himself in the blanket like years of pain finally poured out at once. When you think about everything we know about Pete, he’s just 24, yet he’s been emotionally exhausted for years. His gang is younger than him, meaning he can’t really share anything with them. His sister neglects him, and the way he talks about his relatives makes it obvious that his family life is filled with distance rather than care😔 It’s the first time Pete has ever talked about his past, not running from it but actually saying it out loud while someone quietly listens to him. Niran doesn’t interrupt Pete or try to comfort him. He looks composed the whole time, but I can feel his emotions through the silence, the sigh, the way he listens. He is simply lying there but it’s a safe space for Pete to unravel, which is why Pete later says that people feel at ease around Niran. It’s not cuz Niran is affectionate, it’s cuz he says things as they are and that helps Pete feel like he can be himself around him, even at his most broken moment. The scene before where he was furious with Pete, he’s not judging Pete’s life, he’s just giving him the hard truth. He doesn’t sugarcoat things, but he also doesn’t invalidate Pete’s pain. Instead, he’s trying to make Pete realize that his life has value, but he’s letting anger, recklessness and negative emotions get the best of him. And for someone like Pete, who spent most of his life feeling unwanted and unseen, this kind of brutal honesty is what he needs to turn over a new leaf🥹
