I've spent all nights this week connecting my spare MacBook Air to my work MacBook Pro using Tailscale, wiring it up to Slack with a little Python script, so that whenever I send a message, it starts a Claude Code session using claude -p. I set up cron jobs with open-ended prompts, and because Claude Code builds memories across sessions, it started DMing me things that were actually meaningful — based on what we'd talked about before. That's when it stopped feeling like a tool and started feeling like something else entirely. Giving your AI a machine to run on, with persistent memory and recurring access — that's a fundamentally different experience than anything people have had with chat. The moment it clicked I asked it if it could show me something by spinning up a quick web server. Since we're both connected to the same Tailscale network, it gave me a URL. I clicked it, and I was browsing all the files on my other MacBook from my browser. That was mind-blowing. The setup Two MacBooks on a Tailscale network. Slack as the interface. Claude Code under the hood. The whole thing is open source — I'll link the repo below so you can see the architecture and set it up yourself. I'm also putting together a screen recording to walk through the setup, which I'll attach to this post. There was never a hard part. There was never a moment I almost gave up. This is just one of those things I cannot stop doing. Pure obsession. I am moved to build this, and I wanted to write about it. That's all this is. Hope you feel the AGI running this. ✨ A dream I had finally came true: I can now chat directly with my sites to build any feature or fix any bug just via Telegram I've been playing with OpenClaw for 3 weeks now and it's great but I was always too scared to run it on any production server And I was right a bit as Marc Köhlbrugge was able to hack it by social engineering and acting as if it was me, and with enough tries it believed him, and was able to modify the server, change SSH keys etc. of course I had it isolated properly on its own VPS and it didn't touch anything sensitive (as it should!) Marc then reported that bug to Peter Steinberger 🦞 who patched it fast But I wanted to try something more basic and simple, and I think maybe more secure: to just connect Claude Code on my server to Telegram which would be hard locked to only messages from me So I installed claude-code-telegram by Richard Atkinson on the server and run it as a system daemon and it works really well The cool thing is that I was already using Telegram for server errors like this: > Photo AI - ❌ Random credits giveaway failed (Attempt 30/30) with an exception: SQLSTATE[HY000]: General error: 5 database is locked So now I can just reply, "Ok fix this", and Claude Code on the server in production will try (and probably succeed) in fixing it In the video below I asked it to make show [🌳 Parks ] on the map by default on load, it did that, then I reloaded the page and it instantly worked One thing it still needs is sending actual messages while it's doing stuff which OpenClaw does really well, it's annoying to just wait while it says "Working..." but that's probably next

This is incredibly useful for those using Claude Code! I have two computers, and sharing your Claude Code sessions is almost impossible without this. I often start working on something on my desktop, and then want to continue working on the same session (same context, conversation, etc.) on my laptop. I asked Garry Tan how to use meta prompting to get better at AI: "My partners at YC Jared Friedman and Pete Koomen showed me how to do this. You can take almost anything that you do all the time and just drop it into a context window. And then say, “Here’s a bunch of inputs and outputs." And maybe you also add a bunch of notes. And then you tell it, “Write me a prompt that can act as an agent that takes this input and makes this output over here.” You can do this for almost any type of knowledge work. And you can even introspect. "What are things you notice that I did to convert this from the input to the output?”. And then you can just start using the prompt. Initially, it’s going to suck. Because it’s just not that smart yet. But what’s funny is now, I also use it to Iterate my writing. You can be very direct, "I would never say that", "Don’t say it like this", or "Oh, you used the long word there, use the short word". Just speak to it conversationally. And then when you're happy with the output, you can use that new output to make a new prompt. "Based on this conversation, give me a better initial prompt that incorporates all the things we talked about." And you can do this with literally everything. And in theory, there’s so much it applies to that people do day-to-day. You could use it for tweets. You could use it for editing podcasts. You can use it for pretty much everything. I have a folder of prompts that I use all the time. My YouTube prompt is on v27 or something. I'll go through this process with all the different max models. I'll use GPT 5.2 Pro. I’ll use Grok. I'll use Claude. Then, I’ll take all the outputs from all the models and put them into Claude and say "Here’s my prompt, here’s the output from four LLMs, including yourself. Okay, I got Claude Code to actually fly my plane now It controls the keys via Chrome by running it with `claude --chrome` There is some issue with the lift vs gravity formula though so it takes a lot of speed to take off, but it's really cool to see it control and fly the plane This means it can code the game and then play it to check in a loop to theoretically improve it without my help (haven't gotten there though) I run it like this btw: `IS_SANDBOX=1 claude --dangerously-skip-permissions --chrome` (Run at your own risk)

Firstly, my work isn’t AI GENERATED PROMPT. The reason why I privated my account was because I was busy yesterday and couldn’t explain things. Fonts that I used: • For the “HAMKU” I used PECKHAM PRESS, I rasterized the letters a bit to achieve a close font from the official account. • For the texts I used CHANTAL medium in lower case. • For my username I used CHALKDUSTER. Brushes that I used: • Studio Pen • HB Pencil (for sketching) • Shale Brush For the colors I won’t list it, kindly check the third photo to see the palettes. I have to admit that I get lazy to use it and even lost in the palettes, so I mainly use the eyedropper tool. Here is the original version, as you can see my original version is so low quality, the lines are too pixelated and not clean—that is why I chose to post the ai enhanced version. Since I used ai to enhanced the lines of my original work, it definitely generated a new version which I still decided to post as the lines are cleaner. I really don’t know the way around on procreate. If you have suggestions on how to avoid the pixelated lines on procreate, kindly please tell me. This is my first time using it for line art cause I mostly use it for painting. I actually don’t know how many layers I exactly have as I already deleted some layers during the process. But as I continue getting to know myself, I just want to say - and I’ll say this clearly - I have absolutely no intention of starting a brand or selling anything at this point. Not even a little bit. Right now, I just see this - working and designing - as another way of expressing myself. That’s all it is. At least for now, I don’t have any plans beyond that. So I know there are people who hope I might do something more with this, and on the other hand, there may also be some fans who start to wonder, “Is he planning something?” - and maybe feel a bit uneasy about it. Because it could seem like I’m taking on too much or not focusing on my main work. But I’m very aware of that myself, and honestly, I don’t want that to happen. I really don’t. So to be clear - I’ll say it firmly - I don’t have any such plans right now. It all started simply because I wanted to try wearing clothes from different brands, and eventually, I thought, “I want to wear what I want,” or “I want to create something I’d like to wear.” That’s the situation I’m in. I just want to keep expressing myself. As long as it doesn’t become a burden for me or interfere with my schedule, I’d love to keep doing fun and creative things and share them with our ATINYs. So… it’s really just that. Since I’ve been using something like a stylized “HJ” - kind of like a personal mark - some people might start thinking, “Oh, is he launching a brand?” But absolutely not. That’s not the case at all. I’ve just been adding that mark to the clothes I make because I think it looks nice, and it kind of makes it feel like it’s mine. That’s really all there is to it. To be honest, I do want to make a tag eventually, but the design isn’t fully clear in my head yet - I haven’t figured it out. So for now, I’m just using the logo that’s in my mind. And honestly, it’s not like I’m trying to hide anything or doing something secretly behind my members’ backs. I just wanted to talk about it openly and put it out there. Because that way, I can really have fun with it. And if our ATINYs say, “Oh, that looks nice,” then I can just feel happy about it as it is. And even if I end up making something that doesn’t turn out so great sometimes, if ATINYs say, “You made that?” - even that, I can just laugh and enjoy it for what it is. So that’s what it is. That’s really the reason. Continuously creating - not just in music, but in other areas too - gives me so much energy. And I truly believe that this kind of creativity brings new inspiration to my performances as well. I think that’s what it is - the process of constantly making something new gives me another kind of drive, another kind of motivation. That’s what it feels like to me. So… that’s why I enjoy it. And honestly, that’s also why - even more so - I feel more motivated when it comes to things like choreography practice, or even just the basics of rapping. Pi was built when there were already agent harnesses around. Here’s why Mario Zechner(Mario Zechner), found them suboptimal and built Pi, a minimalist self-modifying agent: #1 - Mario initially was a believer in Claude Code: "I was a believer in Claude code because they were the first that packaged agentic search up in a really compelling package. And at the time that fit my workflow really well. Everything around the LLM was kind of nice and tidy and easy to understand. I was super happy. I was proselytising Claude code." #2 - Reverse engineering Claude Code highlighted the degradation that Mario felt as a user: "I personally like simple tools that are stable and that I can rely on. Even if they have non-deterministic parts, all the deterministic parts should be as stable as possible. That was just not the experience with Claude Code around summer 2025. They would take away your control of the context. They would inject stuff behind your back, which is bad. Then, your workflows stopped working because there's now a system reminder that you don't even see in the UI that would modify the behaviour of the model. They would also do this to the system prompt. I built a little service where I can track the progression or evolution of the system, prompt and tool definitions and, with every release, it was messing with stuff. That just messed with my workflows and I don't appreciate that." #3 - PI was built with an appreciation for simple and reliable tools: "If I commit to a development tool, I want it to be a stable, reliable thing like a hammer. These are both static site generators that output html, so I suspected an AI agent could do a good job with a port -- since it could compare old / new build output and try to match. Attempt 1: Agent I just had Claude Code do the port. It went pretty well. But it was hard for me to review what had happened! The git diff was dozens of new files and it was hard to tell how they mapped to the old site. I think the LLM also tried directly writing some files rather than doing deterministic copying, which felt dangerous. Attempt 2: Script I realized a better approach was to have Claude Code write a script that would do the port. The script would execute shell commands like "copy all the markdown files from this directory into this other directory in the new site". This worked much better because I could review the *process* rather than the *results*. Still, even with a nicely commented script, it felt like I was doing a lot of work to review. I wondered: how could I make it ridiculously easy to review this? Attempt 3: HUD Enter the command center! This is an entire web app that I had Claude build just for this one task. I can click buttons to run each step of the port, and watch the new website gradually materialize. It has a node server that runs on my local machine that executes commands on my filesystem and coordinates dev servers for the old/new site. And then a web UI that talks to that server to visualize terminal commands, file trees, and live running previews. It's a HUD because I feel like I can ambiently see everything that the port process is doing 🧐 Was this whole thing worth making for this one-time task? I'm not sure, maybe it was overkill 😅 But it did help me feel more confident that I understood what was going on, and total time was still less than it would have taken me to do the whole port by hand! One way to look at this experience is: "AI can put absurd amounts of effort into a pull request description." What do I mean by that? Well, a PR description is a way to communicate a code change to a human. Typically we do that by writing a bit of text, because that's all we have time for. But given more time and effort, we can do better! An interactive command center / HUD can help a person understand what a code change is actually doing. Historically you'd never imagine investing the effort to do that for a single PR. But now it's within the realm of possibility. So, next time you have an agent do something for you, and you wish you understood better what it was doing, consider: instead of just asking for textual descriptions, maybe ask the agent to make you a HUD!

So, I built this Claude Skill👇 How it works: - Install Claude Code skill (ask it to clone repo) - Build an HTML page for anything (e.g. research coding agents and generate HTML report) - Ask it to make the page interactive That's it. CC will launch a localhost server and allow you to then leave comments on the page itself and once it updates, will give you a tour of changes.
