I got a smart meter recently and saw you can download a HDF file with the data so I had the idea of writing a script that could parse that and show the data in a useful manner. However I discovered that someone has already done this and done a really good job on it. The video explains how it works. In simple terms it uses the ESB smart meter data and shows a breakdown of how much data you are using and when and also recommends plans and estimates what each one would cost based on the data. The tool is available at easier to read on Laptop or Tablet or then your phone to Landscape.

Initially just write the data to a CSV. - Setup an account with Snowflake or Google BigQuery. - update your Python script to load a table in Snowflake/BigQuery - schedule your script with CRON in the cloud with a service like Heroku. - build aggregations and visualizations on top of your ingested data Only thing this misses is data quality and complex job orchestration which you can learn later! All user data on Flowsta is stored on Holochain. 1 public hApp (Holochain App) for public data like Agent ID, DID (W3C Decentralized ID), Display Name and Thumbnail. Each user has their own private hApp that encrypts all their private data, like password, email and usage meta data. Nobody can access this data without your password and/or recovery keys. It is mathematically impossible for Flowsta staff or anybody else to access this data without you explicitly granting access. This is game-changing. True decentralized censorship resistant authentication and data. All made possible by Holochain.
