Ukraine has destroyed one of Russia’s rarest air defense assets in Donetsk Oblast. According to Drone Forces Commander Robert “Madyar” Brovdi, Ukrainian forces destroyed a 9S32M1 engagement radar, a critical component of Russia’s S-300V air defense system. This radar is essential for tracking and guiding missiles against aircraft and ballistic targets. Losing it severely degrades the S-300V’s combat effectiveness and is not easily replaceable. Another high value Russian system taken off the battlefield.

This is a video demonstrating a brand new asteroid tracking technique I made that is so powerful that it can precisely track Stealth Fighters better than any other Stealth tracking technique in existence even when it is using just three $30 webcams. This same technique can be used interchangeably with thermal cameras and can majorly upgrade Radar systems. It is also able to massively increase the effective resolution of 3D scanning techniques such as CT scanners and cryo electron-microscopy. I've added notes at 4:15 and at 9:10 which go into detail about why I think this hasn't been done yet and what the things are that you think that this is but it isn't. Pretty much all of the problems you can think of with the system are extremely easy to fix if you use a little bit of brainpower to solve them.

This is what helps pilots see the runway during takeoff and landing in B737NG. The retractable landing light is a relatively simple assembly consisting of the lens assembly, lamp, retainer screws, and an extend/retract motor. In the cockpit, it is controlled by a 3-position toggle switch: RETRACT, EXTEND and ON. The retractable landing lights(L+R) are installed on the fuselage belly. There are also fixed landing lights located around the wing-root area of each wing for more lighting. A simple system, but critical.

Russia has delivered a new batch of Su-57 fifth-generation fighters in what UAC calls a “new technical configuration.” The aircraft completed factory testing and were evaluated by Russian Ministry of Defense pilots before flying to their operational bases. One of the most interesting changes is the evolution of the Su-57’s electro-optical sensor complex. Newer aircraft feature more distributed sensors around the fuselage, expanding passive electro-optical coverage and giving the pilot a broader picture of the surrounding battlespace. The upgrade shows that Russia is continuing to evolve the Su-57 rather than treating it as a finished design. Along with sensor improvements, newer batches have received updated onboard systems and expanded weapons capabilities. As the plasma rushes back, it creates an electric wake that can trap and accelerate another bunch of electrons. This is known as Laser Wakefield Acceleration (LWFA) and is being explored for future accelerator Physics. For this animation, we used a reduced particle-in-cell (PIC) method, coupling particle motion to the self-consistent plasma field on a computational mesh.
