Dictator Museveni, I spent 8 years in exile fighting the Amin regime. My family also lived in exile for 5 years. Together, that’s 13 years our family spent outside Uganda because of impunity, violence, and oppression. After we won the war, we all returned home. My question is: if those were the very conditions that forced you and your family into exile, why are Ugandans today face similar circumstances? Why repeat what you once fought against? Why betray the ideals you once stood for?
