Ever wondered why tattoos cost so much?

They cost so much because they know their customers are a bunch of suckers.

Main cost is still the expertise and time of the artist

so 50 bucks of stuff you charge hundreds/thousands

they beyond overcharge. everything he said is cheap and does not justify the hundreds of dollars per hour he charges.

I never wondered what tattoos cost, never got one and don't even understand the appeal. Looks like graffiti to me.
