What we went through in Nigeria—even an MD wouldn’t dare try that in Canada. It’s these little things that make japa make so much sense. I’ve never even seen anyone talk to a dog like that here in Canada. We can do better. But sadly, many of us carried that trauma abroad, and now we find ourselves speaking to our kids the same way. It’s just sad.

This is the average Boss in Nigeria. And i personally think it is a problem with KPI. You give people A to do, expect them to somehow do B and C. You don't think. No, i am not here to think, i am here to follow my KPI and daily targets, if you need me to do something outside it

It is important or else, you will lose the business, Nigerians need tough hand or else, they will take you for granted and won’t mind to kill the business and still be the first to jump ship when the chips are down! Werey is needed to make things work in this country!
