Every civilisation faces a Sankraman Kaal—a transition that shapes its future. Mumbai is at that moment today. At August Kranti Maidan, this is not an exhibition but a space of awakening—where history meets the present and ideas rise above noise. Constitution 75 | Nalanda Vaad | Moot Court |...

Mumbai's Shunya is rising. Centuries ago, Aryabhata introduced the world to Shunya, a simple yet revolutionary idea that transformed mathematics, science and our understanding of the universe. Today, inspired by that timeless legacy, Mumbai is building a landmark unlike any other. Rising above the Vakola Nallah, the Shunya Bridge is steadily taking shape. A key part of Mumbai Metro Line 2B, this iconic structure will serve as both a critical transport link and a symbol of engineering excellence. With the iconic zero-shaped pylon now complete, construction has advanced to the bridge's back span, where 11 of the 12 precast segments have already been erected and cast-in-situ works are progressing steadily. The next milestone will be the bridge's defining 80-metre main span, the critical link that will complete the iconic structure and bring this vision to life. Every segment launched. Every weld perfected. Every milestone achieved brings Mumbai's newest landmark one step closer to reality. A tribute to India's scientific legacy. A landmark for generations to come. A symbol of how timeless ideas continue to inspire modern engineering. Connecting not just places, but the past, present and future. Not for a moment will I ever say that we must not give premium to innocence. Democracy is nurtured, its core values blossom, and human rights are taken at a high pedestal when we believe in innocence till the guilt is established. Therefore, I must not be misunderstood as casting aspersions on any individual. But then, in a democratic nation, purity of its criminal justice system defines its direction. Investigation is required. No investigation under law is in progress at the moment. Because for a criminal investigation, the initiation has to be by an FIR—First Information Report. It is not there. It is the law of the land that every cognizable offence is required to be reported to the police. And failure to do so—failure to report a cognizable offence—is a crime. Therefore, you all will be wondering why there has been no FIR. The answer is simple. An FIR in this country can be registered against anyone—any constitutional functionary, including the one before you. One has only to activate the rule of law. No permission is required. But if it is judges—FIR cannot be straightaway registered. It has to be approved by the concerned in judiciary. But that is not given in the Constitution. The Constitution of India has accorded immunity from prosecution only to the Hon'ble President and the Hon'ble Governors. So how come a category beyond law has secured this immunity? Because the ill-effects of this are being felt in the mind of one and all. Every Indian, young and old, is deeply concerned. If the event had taken place at his house, the speed would have been an electronic rocket. Now, it is not even a cattle cart. #RajyaSabha

Shapiro's AmFest Speech: A Timeless Masterpiece for Future Conservatives! "Shapiro's speeches at Heritage and at TPUSA will be read in 50 years by young conservatives if they want to understand what was at stake in this moment." ~Eli Lake Eli Lake, columnist at The Free Press and contributing editor at Commentary Magazine, lauded Ben Shapiro's recent speeches, including his address at Turning Point USA's AmericaFest 2025, predicting they will endure as essential reading for future generations. "I think that Ben Shapiro's speeches at Heritage and at TPUSA will be read in 50 years by young conservatives if they want to understand what was at stake in this moment after the Charlie Kirk assassination in 2025," Lake said. "I thought they were absolutely masterful."While acknowledging that headlines focused on Shapiro's personal criticisms of figures like Tucker Carlson, Megyn Kelly, and Candace Owens, Lake emphasized the broader significance." Now, yes, the headlines are that he did get personal not just with Tucker Carlson, but with Megan Kelly, Candace Owens, and others," Lake noted. "But I think he also laid out important principles that for the most part people who are on the right, people who are conservatives have to renew in every generation and Ben Shapiro in my view has done that." Lake expressed deep admiration for Shapiro's approach."I cannot tell you how much respect I have for what he did," he added. He agreed that the focus should remain on ideas rather than personal attacks, stating, "I don't think this needs to be personal and I think your approach is right. It's not about cancelling the person. It's about grappling with the ideas." However, Lake warned of a troubling shift in discourse: "But a lot of the ideas that we're hearing and the style, the grammar of the political discourse has gone off the rails into conspiracy theory land."

STATEMENT FROM THE LABOUR PARTY Abure rejects Appeal Court decision, Heads to Supreme Court Excerpt of his statement. We have seen what transpired today at the Appeal Court and we want to say very clearly that the judgement is not acceptable to all of us in the Labour Party led by my humble self. I want to say very clearly that the judgement is against all known principles of law. The courts, the Supreme Courts and all courts in Nigeria have stated very clearly that the issues of leadership of a political party is an internal affairs of a political party. It is also not true and I disagree when people say that the tenure of this executive has expired. That is untrue and very unacceptable to us. Nigerians will recall that on the 27th of March 2024, we had a valid convention that was held in Nnewi and that convention is still valid and subsisting for 4 years. I want to say that the court today didn't look at that before arriving at the conclusion that the tenure has expired. I must also say clearly that the Umuahia meeting which produced the Caretaker Committee was also against the Labour Party constitution. It is only the National Chairman and National Secretary of a Political Party who has the power to convene any NEC meeting of any of sort. I want to say very clearly that we are going to appeal that decision. Today's decision of the Appeal Court is not acceptable to us and we reject it in its entirety. We have put our legal team together and we are going to file an appeal and move to the Supreme Court. Thank you and God bless you. In the immediate aftermath of 5th August, 2024, a date that will be remembered as the day one of the most reviled authoritarian figures in Bangladesh's history fled the country, I extended my congratulations to the courageous people whose unwavering resolve made this moment possible. At the time, I remarked that a victory is made truly noble when even the defeated can find safety and dignity in its wake. Today, I reiterate that message, urging all democracy-loving citizens of Bangladesh to uphold the principles of justice and restraint. Let no one take the law into their own hands. Let us not glorify mob violence. Let there be no acts of aggression against women. Let us honor one another’s freedoms and dignity. The Bangladesh we strive to build is the one seen through a mother’s eyes, where every citizen, regardless of political affiliation, faith, background, or belief, lives in safety and peace. We envision a nation where believers and non-believers, skeptics and the devout, all coexist under the same promise of security and equality. Let every 5th August henceforth stand as a solemn pledge to the cause of democracy, good governance, and our collective humanity. In this long and difficult journey toward fulfilling that noble promise, both I and my party, the Bangladesh Nationalist Party-BNP, seek the continued support and solidarity of all those who believe in democracy, justice, and the future of a truly inclusive Bangladesh.

Mainstream culture in America is being radicalized. The cool, trendy behavior at music festivals and on college campuses now casually includes spreading hate against Jews. Last week at Coachella, a band that has an extensive history of glorifying terrorism went on stage to demonize Israel. They displayed a sign that said, "Israel is committing a genocide. F*** Israel and free Palestine." This is not a political opinion. This is a modern-day blood libel. Israel is fighting a war that it neither started nor asked for, but it is not a genocide. Not every single war is a genocide. And to portray Israel and the Jews as blood-thirsty war mongers is not true, and it's not new. This is the exact same propaganda that has been used to normalize Jew hatred in mainstream culture for centuries. In addition, at Cornell University, it was just announced that another antisemitic performer will be platformed on their campus. This is someone who has said that Zionists are all evil, Zionists are the scum of the earth, and they should all go to hell. She refused to condemn Hamas for the October 7th massacre and started her music video with the chant, "Long live the Intifada." An intifada is a violent attack against Jews. Thousands of Israelis were murdered in the first and second intifada in which Palestinian terrorists launched waves of suicide bombings, knife stabbings, and other violent attacks against Jews. And so, these uninformed music lovers think that this is the right way to be, this is the correct, cool way of thinking. For a while now, these slogans and ideas have been used as prerequisites to enter some spaces. Where in order to join a club or attend an event, all you need to do is just to support the intifada, accuse the Jews of committing a genocide. This thinly veiled Jew hatred became the expected virtue signaling in polite societies. This is how extremism and radicalization happens. Normalizing hate and violence becomes accepted as part of culture, and we have seen what this can cause for the Jewish community. Let me be clear, supporting Hamas should never be part of the culture. Spreading Jew hatred should never be part of the culture. And if that's where culture is at right now, then I'm proud to be part of the counterculture, where truth lives. Welcome, everybody. We are the counterculture.

The RSS believes that India is one idea and we believe that India is a multiplicity of ideas. We believe that everybody should be allowed to participate, allowed to dream, and given space regardless of their caste, language, religion, tradition or history. This is the fight, and the fight was crystallised in the election when millions of people in India clearly understood that the Prime Minister of India was attacking the Constitution of India. Every single word that I have said to you is in the Constitution. The foundation of modern India is the Constitution. What people understood in the election clearly, and I saw it happening when I used to raise the Constitution, people understood what I was saying. They were saying that the BJP is attacking our tradition, attacking our language, attacking our states, attacking our histories. Most importantly, what they understood was that anybody who is attacking the Constitution of India is also attacking our religious tradition. That is why in my first speech in Parliament you must have noticed when I describe Abhayamudra, the fact that this is a symbol of fearlessness and it is present in every single Indian religion. When I was saying this, the BJP could not stand it. They don't understand, and we are going to make them understand. The other thing that happened was that the fear of the BJP vanished. We saw that immediately, within minutes of the election result, nobody in India was scared of the BJP or the Prime Minister of India. So these are huge achievements, not of Rahul Gandhi or the Congress party. We are peripheral. These are huge achievements of the people of India who realised democracy, of the people of India who realised that we are not going to accept an attack on our Constitution. We are not going to accept an attack on our religion, on our state. : Shri Rahul Gandhi 📍Dallas, USA
