This is a pretty weird forum - assumes the worst of everyone. To clarify - as an aviation buff, it’s always an imposing sight to see so many heavies parked on the ramp. It wasn’t about revenue, diversions or pax suffering.

I guess the revenue for BLR airport was silver lining more than the sight of these jets

Last night, while departing Las Vegas, British Airways flight BA274 lost one of its main landing gear wheels. The separation of the right, rear wheel from the A350-1000 was captured on our automated live stream at the airport. The flight continued for a safe landing in London.

The FAA said the crew of Delta Air Lines Flight 2351, Airbus A319, executed a go-around at Boston's airport around 11:30 a.m. because another aircraft (AA3161 Boeing 737-823) was departing from an intersecting runway. A Delta spokesperson, who noted nothing is more important than safety, confirmed the crew of Flight 2351 followed established procedures in coordination with Air Traffic Control and performed a go-around on approach into Logan Airport. As someone who has towed countless aircraft across a major airport's tarmac, I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA what this guy was thinking here. Jetran, owner of Boeing 777-200LR N705DN, just issued a statement on that risky test flight maneuver in Texas. They’re not happy with the crew’s actions, stressing the aircraft isn’t Qatar Airways’ yet — no Qatar pilots were onboard. The plane is still theirs during passenger-to-cargo conversion by Mammoth Freighters. Jetran expects a full investigation and accountability for those responsible. That right wingtip was extremely close to the ground on that pass. When I first watched it I thought I was going to be watching a crash. Extremely reckless. The aircraft according to data if correct was at 760ft, the airport is at 722ft. Whilst at security with Mark Smith Heathrow Airport yesterday, we met a lovely crew that were off to JFK in their lovely little 777. Little did we know that our paths would cross again over #Canada as we whizzed past them. The A350 cruises at Mach 0.85 (85% of the local speed of sound), the 777 is normally nearer M0.83…hence the overtake. I love seeing aircraft like this…it reminds me just how beautiful and complex flying machines really are…whilst looking so graceful. #aviation #aviationdaily #aviationlovers #pilot #pilotlife #avgeek #avgeeks #Boeing #Airbus #flying
