Republicans are melting down because US Senate Leader Chuck Schumer just said we may have to send US soldiers to fight Russia if the border bill isn’t passed. In case you don’t know there is something called “Article 5”. If Russia attacks Poland we will he there. More on Article 5. - Collective defence means that an attack against one Ally is considered as an attack against all Allies. - NATO invoked Article 5 for the first and only time in its history after the 9/11 terrorist attacks against the United States. I hope republicans remember this if god-forbid Article 5 is invoked.

🤬 Russian flag displayed at Dynamo Kyiv match in Poland Greek fans unfurled the tricolour during the match against PAOK. According to a NEXTA correspondent, clashes with stadium security followed. In one video, Ukrainian fans can be heard chanting, “Ruska kurwa.” Security used gas to calm the crowd. Dynamo Kyiv had previously advised its supporters not to attend the away match in Lublin due to the risk of provocations. Today’s game ended in a 3–2 defeat for Dynamo. The second leg will take place in Greece on July 30.

Across many of our regions, work is underway to address the aftermath of Russia’s attack. It is confirmed that Russia launched more than 470 attack drones and 48 missiles of various types against Ukraine overnight – one ballistic and the rest cruise missiles. In Ternopil, residential nine-story buildings were hit, causing fires. Unfortunately, there is significant destruction, and there may be people trapped under the rubble. All necessary emergency services are on the ground, trying to save every life. As of now, dozens of people have been injured and, sadly, 9 people have been killed. My condolences to their families. There was also a massive strike, beginning already in the evening, against our Kharkiv. Dozens of people have been wounded in the city, including children. Energy facilities, transport, and civilian infrastructure have been damaged. Our energy infrastructure in the Ivano-Frankivsk region was attacked as well. Three people were wounded, including two children. In the Lviv region, critical infrastructure and energy facilities were targeted. A person was injured in the Donetsk region. Kyiv, Mykolaiv, Cherkasy, Chernihiv, and Dnipro regions also came under attack. Every brazen attack against ordinary life proves that the pressure on Russia is still insufficient. Effective sanctions and assistance for Ukraine can change this. The top priority is air defense missiles, additional systems, expanded capabilities for our combat aviation, and drone production to protect lives. Russia must be held accountable for its actions, and we must stay focused on everything that strengthens us and enables us to shoot down Russian missiles, neutralize Russian drones, and stop assaults. We have new results from our long-range sanctions targeting Russian facilities that work to support and prolong the war. An oil refinery and logistics center in Ryazan were hit. The distance from the Ukrainian border is about 360 kilometers. A site where the Russian Black Sea Fleet’s high-speed boats are based in our temporarily occupied Crimea was also hit. Long-range sanctions were also carried out against an oil refinery in the Perm region, as well as an export terminal and a military enterprise in the Rostov region. I thank our warriors for their precision, and I thank everyone who makes these long-range results possible. Russia must feel that every day of this war will only come at a higher cost for it. We need to weaken the aggressor and keep up the pressure to bring an end to this war closer.

Seven people are currently in hospitals after being injured in the Russian strike on Zaporizhzhia, while some others are still undergoing the necessary medical examinations. A total of 37 people have been affected. It was a guided aerial bomb attack that directly targeted the city’s civilian infrastructure. The Russians show no restraint in destroying human life. This was an absolutely cynical terrorist strike, with no military justification whatsoever. Not a single day passes without such Russian attacks on our cities and villages. This one strike alone has already claimed 12 lives. In the evening, the Russian scumbags also launched attacks on Dnipro. As of now, four people were reported killed. My condolences to the families and loved ones. It is essential that Russia is forced to end this war. Hills I will die on as someone who has coached high school football for over 29 years: 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to coach, this profession is not for you. 2. As much as we need to know our trade, getting to know (and to love), our players is far more important. 3. This is an INTENSE game, and it’ll never be “just a game”, but it IS a game. Remember that when you’re with your team, and more importantly, remember that when you’re with your family. 4. Just as we teach our athletes to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our athletes better than they were when they first entered into our program. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every individual. 5. Life is complicated enough, let’s not complicate the game in such a way that we take the joy of it away from others. In other words… Keep it simple. 6. Our words carry little (or NO), value, if we don’t practice what we preach. WE as coaches should be learning and growing each and every day, just as we expect our athletes to. 7. As much as we all want to win those championship rings for our athletes, make sure you don’t lose your wedding ring in the process. 8. The athlete that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Be where your feet are. Don’t fall into the trap of chasing logos and thinking that a higher division, a bigger school, or going from HS to college, or even college to the pros, is going to be more rewarding or fulfilling. 10. The legacy you leave as a coach will never be determined by your wins and losses, but by the lives you were able to change for the better!

Hills I will die on as an elementary school teacher, who just wrapped up my 32nd year teaching! 1. If you are not PASSIONATE about blessing, serving, and empowering those you are blessed to teach, this profession is not for you. 2. Our students are not “ours”. They are their families, and we need to understand the magnitude of the calling, and responsibility we have to meet them where they are, and to help them to get to a place that they never thought possible. 3. As important as the curriculum is (and it IS important), the children in our classroom are what matter most. It’s our JOB to teach the curriculum to SERVE our students, NOT to use our students to push any sort of agenda. 4. Just as we teach our students to “leave things better than they found them”, we need to leave our students better than they were when they first entered into our classroom. Never let a day pass without pouring into each and every child. 5. We should not teach our children WHAT to think, but HOW to think, and how to use that knowledge to bless and serve not only themselves, but the world around them. 6. Our words carry little (or NO value), if we do not practice what we preach. 7. If we don’t make learning fun, children will view learning as a chore, and we we will be creating a generation of children who grow up to be young adults who don’t see the joy in learning new things. 8. The child that may be “difficult to reach/teach” (the one who may get on your last nerve more than you could ever imagine), is someone’s EVERYTHING. Get to know them as human beings, find out what motivates them, and do everything you can to help them to thrive. 9. Never tell a child they “can’t” do something. God has blessed each of them with far more strengths and talents than we may know, and it’s not our job to tell them what they can’t do, but to help them to realize all the things they CAN do. 10. The legacy you leave as a teacher will never be determined by your student’s test scores, but by the human beings you helped them become throughout their lives.

IREE, OSUN: After speaking with sources and students, Naija Confra reports that the cult clash at Osun State Polytechnic, Iree, between Buccaneers (BAN) and Eiye (NAA) cultists allegedly started during preparations for a movie premiere on campus. Gunshots were heard as the fight broke out. While some cultists claimed not to know the cause, others said it was a revenge attack by Eiye (NAA), in response to an earlier incident where Buccaneers (BAN) allegedly beat up an Eiye cultist using charms. (10 pictures on Telgrm). In today’s attack, the number 3 man of Buccaneers, known as Givenchy, was the victim. He was the person seen in earlier videos being attacked by Eiye cultists. Some reports say he was shot and ax€d, while others say he was only ax€d. His attackers believed he was de@d, but Givenchy survived (as can be seen in this video). Though there are unconfirmed reports that he di€d, Naija Confra can confirm that he is currently alive and receiving treatment. It was also reported that an Eiye cultist was shot but survived and a lady was also hit in the violence. There are growing fears of further escalation. We urge the school authorities and Osun Police to act swiftly. Reject Cultism.

In 1995, 77.1% of global primary energy was provided by fossil fuels (coal, natural gas, and oil). As of 2024, 76.4% still comes from fossil fuels. That's a 0.7 percentage point drop in 30 years. World governments have spent TRILLIONS of dollars on “green” energy projects, and it has barely made a dent in the energy mix (note, these figures are based on the substitution method for fair comparison, so it slightly lowers fossil fuel figures). The fact is that renewable energy sources, like them or not, are largely add-ons to existing energy sources (primarily fossil fuel and nuclear power) that provide us transient savings in optimal conditions. That may change in the future with battery backup as they become cheaper, but that still won't address the fact that oil is STILL going to be needed for lubricants, plastics, fertilizers, etc. Oil is the backbone of modern society, so even if it were to no longer to be used as fuel, it will be used in another capacity and wars will be fought over it.
