🙄 you’re rant assumes Conservatives do not believe in dignity, justice and books. Quite the opposite is true. - We believe that dignity come from working to support yourself and your family. We believe in giving a hand up but not in enabling dependency as a lifestyle. - We believe that each individual should be held to account for their own actions. We believe that people who cannot behave civilly should be removed from civil society so that the rest of the population can live happy, safe, productive lives. - We believe in books and education. AND we believe that inappropriate content should not be made available in schools. If you cannot show the content or read the text aloud in a school board meeting because it is too vulgar or pornographic or promotes/normalizes pedophilia, then that book has no place in the school. - We believe in the rule of law. We believe that if one breaks the law, whether entering the country illegally or stealing a car or embezzling public funds, that person should be held accountable. Felonies should not get plead down to misdemeanors. Repeat offenders should receive enhanced sentences and actually have to do the time. AND we believe that people should only face the charges applicable to an actual offense, no piling on and over prosecuting. Can I elucidate other Conservative positions? You are not a “better” person than Conservatives. You’ve wrapped yourself in feigned virtue.
