sounded okay until it revealed itself as an ad for a vitamin supplement

Besides the obvious ad at the end, this is true. I remember hearing voices in the backroom of my house, and then after searching for where they came from, I realized I had imagined it. I called my mom because I was so freaked out. Super scary stuff

This is why postpartum mental health matters. These experiences are real and deeply unsettling.

This is good information but I’m sorry, anyone (man or woman) thinking a pregnant/postpartum woman is being lazy is absolutely wild and has no respect for life. That thought process is incredibly selfish and self centered.

Fem Mindset's profile picture

Absolutely agree. Pregnancy and postpartum are not laziness, they’re intense physical and emotional work. Anyone who sees it as “lazy” lacks understanding, empathy, and respect for life itself.

Hope someone benefits from this. A few days after our baby was born my wife started craving dates. She ate A LOT. Maybe around just more than half a kilogram (just over a pound) per day. She really bounced back quickly mentally and emotionally. It was amazing

Summary: Men, tolerate/enable your woman's lunatic behavior post-partum because... hormones or whatever Ladies...there's a line where YOU are abusing everyone in your orbit by not getting your shit together. Completes my TED Talk on the 'my hormones' alibi for being terrible.

This is an ad. A woman's placenta has LITERALLY EVERYTHING mom needs for postpartum recovery. Including everything he mentioned in this video. We are the only mammals who don't instinctively consume their placenta after birth. Get up on the postpartum game

MARRIED MEN KNOW. Tell the women who don’t! Trust me man, we know. We live in the real world. But since some women don’t know they continue to believe the delusions their mind showed them during that time.

I’m glad to hear you understand. Sadly, many don’t and without awareness or support, women are often left alone to navigate experiences that can feel overwhelming and deeply isolating.

Woman are different. Our brains, hormones, bodies are different. No amount of surgery or synthetic hormones is going to make a man a woman.

Fem Mindset's profile picture

Womanhood is rooted in biology, hormones, cycles, and lived experience. No surgery or synthetic hormone can recreate the female body, brain wiring, or the reality women carry.

This is true. The first week we were home after having our first I took the baby with me downstairs so my wife could sleep and she woke up and came downstairs and accused me of trying to steal the baby. We had a good laugh the next day after she finally had some rest.

It's sleep deprivation. When you have a newborn baby, you are often breast feeding your baby, or having your boob it's it mouth most of the day and most of the night. The newborn screams when the boob exits the mouth, so the Mum is expected to feed the baby 24/7.

Imagine if they study men this way when we are depressed, frustrated, angry, ect..THEY DON'T CARE. Society dissect females to cater them which makes them sicker. Can't tell u how many females self diagnosed themselves with behaviors they never had but after reading now they got it

True, this is reason why in India culture women are sent to their mom's home to go through pregnancy. She can only return after 6 months of delivery. This moderates lot of emotional distress, and help women to heal before getting back to family life.

Mums with newborn babies may be expected to survive on almost no sleep 24/7 for a few months, while caring for other young children, while cooking & cleaning etc. If you go 48-72 Hours without sleep, you often get hallucinations.

The cure for Mum's with sleep deprivation symptoms, is to have someone else look after the baby & try to bottle feed it, & allow the Mum to get some sleep every now & then. Some Mum's don't get offered this support when all they need is a sleep.

When the pain starts put on a heavy chicken broth and let it boil during labour. This is how it was done since the old times. This broth should be the first dish after birth. I had a little bag of herbs from traditional chinese medicine boiled in it.
