Hello Cyprian. I’ve seen people asking who was behind the failed Raha Fest, which scammed Kenyans during the NYE concert at Uhuru Gardens. The organizer for the event was CateChrisLtd owned by Chris Kirwa. It’s both hilarious and disappointing that this renowned event organizer has erased all traces of the NYE party from his social media profiles. Clearly, he’s trying to distance himself from the failure. This is the same person who also organized the disastrous Diamond Sherehe Festival that flopped last year December, having 2 failed events within a month. Interestingly, I have videos of Chris Kirwa actively hyping Raha Fest during the setup phase whereby he posted reels and updates to create FOMO, but it seems that he deleted all those posts once it became clear the event was a failure. This level of silence and lack of accountability is not only shameful but also a huge blow to the events and concerts industry in Kenya. How does someone with such a history of flopped events continue to mislead the public without taking responsibility? Chris Kirwa’s actions are eroding trust in the entertainment scene and scamming unsuspecting Kenyans who just want a good time. Kindly let’s hold him accountable.

NEW THROW-IN WORLD RECORD! 🏆 Saturday was a special day. At Dalby Stadium in Kolding, Denmark, I set a new world record for the longest throw-in distance achieved in one hour: 5,156 metres. The attempt went so well that I had already broken the previous world record after just 36 minutes and 45 seconds, leaving more than 23 minutes on the clock. The previous record stood at 4,324 metres and had been held since 2012. A special part of the challenge was that I wore 9 different shirts during the attempt – shirts representing clubs where I have been part of winning titles as a throw-in coach. In that way, the record attempt also became a tribute to the many players, coaches and staff members I have had the privilege of working with throughout my career. At the same time, the event was used to raise funds for the Danish Childhood Cancer Foundation, making the day even more meaningful. A huge thank you to everyone who supported the event, helped behind the scenes, donated, or followed the journey. If you would like to support the fundraising campaign, donations are still welcome.
