Lots of room but this Peugeot driver can't overtake two cyclists safely 'as you would a car' leaving at least 1.5m of space. In West Yorkshire drivers like this are offered a safer driving course if eligible. This one clearly needed one.

Careless lorry driver passes two keep left arrows into a clearly marked pedestrian refuge & close passes two cyclists. Well over 30mph. I personally detest cyclists in the roads as much as anyone but this was an IQ test and the driver failed it. 72 year old Jerry Wayne Ross of Woodstock, Georgia has been arrested for hitting a cyclist and leaving the scene. When police arrived to question him, Ross acknowledged the accident but claimed the cyclists were in the roadway and blamed them for the collision. Mr. Ross has since been charged with aggravated assault, hit-and-run, reckless driving, aggressive driving, and failure to maintain a safe distance from a bicycle. ALERT: 72-year-old man arrested for hitting a group of cyclists after honking and heckling them for taking over the road in Georgia. Jerry Ross was driving when he pulled up behind a group of 10 cyclists in the road. He began honking and heckling the cyclists, and one of them started filming. Ross then sped around them while laying on the horn and hit 2 of the cyclists, causing minor injuries, before driving away. Ross, when confronted by police about the incident, blamed the cyclists for taking up the road and causing the collision. He was arrested and is charged with two counts of aggravated assault, hit and run, and reckless driving.
