Serving Bengaluru Beyond Duty location - Hebbal Flyover starting ramp towards city market airport Road Today, at around 3:00 PM, heavy rainfall lashed Bengaluru, leading to severe waterlogging and traffic congestion at several locations across the city. While I was at home, I immediately checked Google Maps to identify the worst-affected areas with heavy traffic and waterlogging. Without waiting for any instruction, I stepped out to assist wherever help was needed. As a responsible citizen, I firmly believe that traffic management during emergencies is not the responsibility of the Traffic Police alone. During heavy rain and waterlogging, no single department can handle the situation by itself. It is our collective responsibility as citizens to stand together, support one another, and extend a helping hand in the interest of public safety. Every small effort made for society contributes to saving valuable time, reducing traffic congestion, and, in many cases, protecting lives. 🚦 How Bengaluru Traffic Police Helped Me After an Accident — A Moment I Will Never Forget 🙏❤️ Today, at around 6:30 PM, near C.S.I. Hudson Memorial Church, Bengaluru City Market, I was travelling on my Ambulance Volunteer Motorcycle when a normal road accident occurred. Suddenly, a senior citizen riding an Activa came in front of me. In an attempt to avoid him, I had to apply the brakes suddenly, causing my motorcycle to skid. I fell down and sustained a minor injury to my left leg. What happened next truly touched my heart. Within approximately 30 seconds, Traffic Police personnel reached the spot and immediately came forward to help me. They personally removed the shoe from my injured foot and took the First Aid Kit from my Ambulance Volunteer Motorcycle. They applied the spray and bandage to my injured leg themselves. They stayed with me until I was completely comfortable and ready to get back on my motorcycle. What touched me the most was their concern for my safety. They told me: “If you are not comfortable riding your motorcycle, you can safely park it at Halasuru Gate Traffic Police Station. Your vehicle will be safe here. Please get yourself treated first and take the motorcycle later.” Sir, honestly, I do not have enough words to express my gratitude and appreciation for what these Traffic Police personnel did for me today. I work as a Traffic Warden and Ambulance Volunteer, and I always try to help people on the road. But today, I experienced firsthand the compassion and humanity of our Traffic Police. 🙏 You are not just Traffic Police personnel — you are true heroes on the streets. Your quick response, compassion, and willingness to help an injured person deserve the highest appreciation. I sincerely request the senior officers to kindly take note of this exemplary act of humanity and appreciate the officers who assisted me today. Recognition of such dedicated personnel will certainly motivate the entire team. Because reaching an injured person within seconds, providing First Aid with your own hands, staying beside them, and ensuring their safety is not merely a duty — it is humanity in uniform. ❤️🙏 Respect and heartfelt salute to Bengaluru Traffic Police.

Emergency Ignored: Ambulance Stopped Midway Outside Alliance College While Patient Struggles for Survival An ambulance rushing to attend to a critically ill patient, with its emergency siren blaring, was allegedly blocked on the road, leading to chaos and serious delays. The incident occurred in front of Alliance College near Anekal, on the outskirts of Bengaluru. According to reports, a car was parked along the roadside outside the college premises. The ambulance, which had set out from Anekal with its siren on to respond to a medical emergency, allegedly made slight contact with the parked car that was partially obstructing the road. Following the minor incident, the car driver, along with a few students of Alliance College, reportedly stopped the ambulance and engaged in an argument. Despite the driver’s repeated requests to allow the vehicle to proceed due to the emergency, the ambulance was allegedly blocked for nearly ten minutes. Eyewitnesses claim that the ambulance driver was verbally abused, and a heated confrontation took place in the middle of the road. Instead of clearing the path for the emergency vehicle, some students were said to have sided with the car driver, further escalating the situation. Police from Anekal later reached the spot. However, those accused of blocking the ambulance were reportedly let off, prompting public concern over the handling of the incident and the need for stricter accountability when emergency services are obstructed. Karnataka State Police S. Beating Traffic to Save a Heartbeat: Bengaluru Metro Transports Organ in Record Time After making history with its first-ever organ transport in August, Bengaluru’s Namma Metro has once again proved its worth in saving lives. On the night of September 11, a live human heart was swiftly moved from Yeshwanthpur to South End Circle in just 20 minutes for a transplant at Apollo Hospital. The journey was a model of coordination and speed. An ambulance first brought the organ from Sparsh Hospital in Yeshwanthpur to the Yeshwanthpur Industry Metro Station. A specially reserved coach on a regular metro train then carried the heart to its destination station, while metro security and doctors stood by to ensure a smooth transfer. From there, another ambulance rushed it to Apollo Hospital. This was the second time Bengaluru’s metro has been used for an organ transfer, cutting through city traffic and dramatically reducing transport time. By harnessing public transport for emergencies, Namma Metro is showing how urban infrastructure can literally save lives. This evening along Thika Road, just before the Roysambu Roundabout, as I was coming from Githurai, I came across a group of boda boda riders who had stopped by the roadside. I stopped to find out what was happening, only to discover that a fellow boda boda rider and his passenger had been involved in a serious accident. I was told that the accident had happened about two hours earlier, and the critically injured victims were still waiting for an ambulance. The riders had been calling different ambulance services, but unfortunately, they were not getting help. I personally called five ambulance services from nearby private hospitals and private ambulance providers, but all of them declined to respond. One of them asked for KShs 15,000 before dispatching an ambulance. Even a traffic police officer who was at the scene had reportedly made several attempts to get an ambulance, but there was still no response. The rider was bleeding badly and his condition was deteriorating. I had no choice but to request a matatu to first transport him to hospital as we continued looking for an ambulance. After few minutes, I called SHA Emergency Ambulance Services thats the EMS ambulances and I sincerely appreciate their response. The moment I called, they responded and dispatched an ambulance to the scene. The ambulance arrived, rescued the passenger and took them to hospital for further treatment. This is a wake-up call. In an emergency, every minute counts. Critically injured Kenyans should not have to wait for hours because an ambulance is unavailable or because they cannot immediately raise money for emergency transport. I therefore call upon the Ministry of Health to consider developing a clear policy requiring private ambulance providers to respond to genuine emergencies without demanding upfront payment before dispatch. Emergencies are unpredictable, and no one should lose their life simply because they cannot raise money quickly enough. I also call upon private hospitals and healthcare providers to prioritise the life, health and wellbeing of patients before money. Healthcare is a calling, and while hospitals and ambulance services have operational costs, we must find a way to ensure that financial considerations do not delay lifesaving emergency care. We should never monetise human life. I also call upon county heath care workers especially the nurses to resume duty to continue saving lives as their union continue negotiating for their demands. Today it was a stranger on Thika Road. Tomorrow, it could be any one of us or someone we love. A delayed ambulance can mean a lost life. In an emergency, every second counts. Let us act before it is too late. Once again, thank you to SHA Emergency Ambulance Services for responding promptly when I called. Your quick intervention made a difference.

No Ambulance, No Help, No Humanity: A Death That Questions Bengaluru In a deeply disturbing incident, Bengaluru witnessed a tragic collapse of both emergency care and basic human compassion. Venkataramanan, a 34-year-old mechanic from South Bengaluru, suffered severe chest pain around 3.30 am. With no immediate help available, his wife took him on a motorcycle in search of treatment. They were allegedly turned away by one private hospital due to the absence of a doctor. Another hospital confirmed a mild heart attack through an ECG but neither initiated emergency treatment nor arranged an ambulance, instead directing them to Jayadeva Hospital. Forced to travel again on the bike, the couple met with an accident on the way. What followed was heartbreaking. CCTV footage shows the wife begging passing vehicles with folded hands as her husband lay on the road in pain. Cars and two-wheelers passed by without stopping. Several minutes later, a cab driver finally helped rush him to a hospital, but he was declared dead on arrival.Venkataramanan leaves behind a five-year-old son, an 18-month-old daughter, and a mother who has now lost her last surviving child. Even in tragedy, the family showed humanity by donating his eyes. This incident raises painful questions about indifference, accountability, and the loss of empathy. A city that moves on while a man dies on the road must pause and ask itself when did we stop being human? Karnataka State Police S. Officer removes a 58-year-old man out of an ambulance as the man requested to go to the hospital. Julian L. Coleman called 911 requesting medical transport after suffering shortness of breath. When an American Medical Response (AMR) ambulance arrived near Seneca Avenue and Norton Street, Coleman boarded the vehicle. Experiencing shortness of breath, Coleman panicked inside the ambulance and grabbed an EMT’s arm while asking for oxygen. The ambulance crew interpreted his panic as aggressive behavior and called the Rochester Police Department for assistance. Upon arrival, officers were told by the EMT crew that Coleman needed to be removed from the vehicle. Despite Coleman repeatedly informing responders that he could not breathe and needed medical attention, he complied with police directives and stepped out of the ambulance, heading toward a nearby sidewalk bench. Moments later, Coleman passed onto the pavement. Body camera and overhead surveillance footage showed that responding officers and medical personnel stood nearby for more than two minutes before anyone approached to evaluate vitals or render aid. He was transported where he remained unconscious until passing away two weeks later. The incident sparked intense public outcry, leading to an AMR internal investigation that resulted in the termination of one EMT and disciplinary action for two other crew members. Coleman’s son, Julian Green, filed a federal civil rights and wrongful death lawsuit against the City of Rochester, AMR, and the individual officers and EMTs involved, alleging gross negligence and deliberate indifference to a critical medical emergency. The case is ongoing through the legal system.

Gavin Newsom caught in a massive federal money laundering scam ‌ Newsom increased ambulance costs 300%, then requested reimbursements from the federal government, but it was fake ‌ He’d then pay a different company a fraction of the cost and pocket the rest. Stealing billions “One of the largest and most convoluted schemes in modern history has been discovered during a review of California's medical financial records” “Investigators found that under Gavin Newsom's leadership, the Golden State has essentially been funneling taxpayer money from all across America to prop up California's own finances. Genesis Plan started in 2022 and it revolves around the complex concept of intergovernmental transfers, which in simple terms is when a local hospital or county makes a transfer to the state Medicaid agency for payments of medical services such as ambulance rides - After the transfers are made, the state can then request a matching amount of money from the federal government - But Gavin Newsom's California abused this system by raising the price of a simple ambulance ride by nearly 300% - Then once the local hospitals made the transfer to the state and the state received the matching funds from the federal government - California then instead paid a private ambulance service which cost only a fraction of the original price, pocketing the difference.” This is one of the most dishonest frauds against taxpayers ever created, Gavin Newsom stole billions with this fraud Gavin Newsom reimbursement rates for public ambulance services by up to 500% (from $339 to $1,600 per ride in some approvals), prompting local governments or hospitals to transfer those inflated amounts to the state via IGTs. The state then claims federal matching dollars—typically at a 50% rate—before reimbursing private ambulance providers at the original lower cost, effectively pocketing the surplus federal funds to offset state budget shortfalls How has Gavin Newsom not been raided by the FBI and thrown in prison for life
