Yesterday, during Bengaluru's heavy rainfall, I remained on the roads for several hours as a Traffic Warden and Ambulance Volunteer, doing my best to help manage traffic and assist the public. Despite wearing a raincoat, I was completely drenched and stayed in wet clothes for nearly 4 hours. As a result, I developed a throat infection, high fever, severe headache, cold, and low blood pressure. This morning, my condition worsened, and I had to be admitted to the hospital. I am currently on IV fluids, and the doctor has advised me to take complete rest. However, I want to say something from the bottom of my heart—the love, respect, and encouraging messages I received on yesterday's post have already healed half of my pain. ❤️ Moments like these remind me that selfless service is never in vain. If even one ambulance reaches its destination faster, one family receives hope, or one life is helped because of our efforts, then every sacrifice is worthwhile. Thank you all for your prayers, kindness, and unwavering support. Your encouragement gives me the strength to recover and return to serving the people of Bengaluru with the same dedication and commitment. Service is not just my duty—it is my purpose. 🇮🇳🙏 @anil_lulla @bengalurupost1 @ChristinMP @hebbaltrafficps @bcptwo @KRPURATRAFFIC #TrafficPolice #BengaluruTraffic #TrafficManagement #VolunteerService

The main problem is garbage by public thrown going from vehicle and by road stalls. We need to crack the garbage first without any remorse and public throwing should be fined like crazy. This is not acceptable

These were new drains built last year, has it got choked due to metro or other works

Its not what the politicians nor the government has to do, The first thing is basic human common sense, throwing garbages whatever wherever they want, Simply causing all these problems, Then blaming politicians

Very nice but please please wear gloves

good work. if BBMP removes the silt on important junctions on war footing then water may not stagnate for long.

People with lower civic sense throw garbage on roads and complain on government. Please do your part responsibly and then you will be entitled to ask questions. These kind of situation will make the authority to be less motivated 🤧🤧

If traffic police clears severe waterlogging along with traffic management , why @GBA_office people are taking salary and whats your responsibility ?

Absolutely great service. But please wear proper gloves, your safety, hygiene and well being too matters. Need more people like you. 🫡

Your sincerity is highly appreciated. Great job. Lead by example. If everyone understands the need of the hour and rises to the occasion the issues will be very minimal.

This shows how people throw garbage on roads and make the drains clot. Everytime its not govts fault. People should have some civic sense too by not littering on roads.

Kudos to you!!!! It's very rare to see such honest people.

So, basically, infra is there ... It is is the uncivilised people who throw garbage on the roads that is causing the blockage and flooding.

Great work! You have to be extra careful while carrying out this work near unfamiliar drains.

@GBA_office ನಾಚಿಕೆ ಆಗಬೇಕು ನಿಮಗೆ, ಸಂಬಳ ಮಾತ್ರ fullu, ಕೆಲಸ ಸೊನ್ನೆ

Sorry ass people throwing trash everywhere - what do they expect

Fortunately there are people like you sir! But fortunately there are ways to prevent such incidents and that is precisely why everyone pays the taxes. But if our tax system doesn’t leave much money for the lowest tiers of governance to do their basic duties, this will happen!

Better to mark or put a pole on each drain vent..so that it's easy to unblock during such situations @GBA_office

No hopes on the leaders man.. No one is accountable

The people are equally responsible for this mess. Guys littering the roads must be jailed.

True hero 🙏👏👏👏

Please wear gloves for your safety. There is always a risk of snakes during the rainy season.

Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great Great GreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreatGreat job.

A very patriotic citizen.

@bbmpcommr if only you knew how to actually care for the city and hired people who also felt the same, there would be some semblance of hope that namma ooru could actually be auto-functional. Instead the BBMP predators are always looking for ways to loot and its such a shame 🤦🏼♂️

En México es lo mismo , cuando enteremos?

God bless!

Most of the times waterlogging is not a drainage issue but rather due to littering nd inefficient waste collection. If these two simple things can be fixed we might see significant improvements.

Don't hurry, don't quickly, be slowly to kept and clan. Slooooooowly, slowwwwwwww. 🙄🙄🙄

Great work

Just shows how well the Bangalore officials are getting ready for mansoon. Total incompetence, that location is not some gully area to ignore. Also even gully area should not be ignored.

Good work. Public should be educated

Please use proper gears TN govt need to give good quality gloves for these workers please.

Pomala Sunil Kumar and his team at @BNCCofficial are one of the most incompetent burdens on us taxpayers we have seen @blrcitytraffic constables doing GBA's job in the past and now a @bcptwo warden! but those shameless creatures will NEVER be pro-active
