Sadie’s response to Boston University Boston University after being banned from competing in WOMEN’S track and field: “They are hearing I was assigned male at birth and that is enough for them to ban any athlete.” “If you don’t conform to what they think is a female athlete, they are not going to let you compete.” Young girls and women should not have to compete against biological boys and men in sports, it’s not complicated.

I'm so grateful I was able to compete as a gymnast as a young person way back when in the 1980s. I worked so hard, I overcame so much adversity, to become the 1986 National Champion. Every ounce of discipline and perseverance I have in me, I learned in sports. I never give up. Happy National Women and Girls in Sports Day.

🔥”I think it’s kind of common sense…When it comes to protecting young girls in sport and women in sport, I feel very strongly about that…that’s why you have Title IX. If Title IX and women in sport wasn’t protected, you wouldn’t hear about any women in sports.” —Sophie Cunningham

WNBA Star Sophie Cunningham is RECEIVING massive PRAISE after standing up for women by declaring that mentally ill men should not be allowed to compete in women’s sports. “I got a lot of negative feedback about me hating tr*ns. And I'm like, ‘I never once said that.’ I think that I am here to extend love. But I also think with that love is truth, being honest. And I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men.”

Sophie Cunningham responds to criticism over her recent comments to ESPN about wanting to protect women's sports from "biological men." "I said what I said. I think it's kind of common sense. When it comes just to protecting young girls in sport and women in sport, I feel very strongly about that. That's why you have Title IX. That's why you have some of the greats in women's sports. If Title IX women's sports weren't protected, then you wouldn't hear about any type of women in sport. I have never once said that I hated the trans community." In her interview with ESPN, Cunningham had said: "I want to protect young girls in a locker room, or young girls in sport who shouldn't have to go against biological men."

Sophie Cunningham doubles down on keeping biological men out of women's sports. Sophie Cunningham: "I mean I said what I said, I think it's kind of common sense. When it comes just to protecting young girls in sports and women in sports, I feel very strongly about that. I don't dislike anyone, I think there's room to love everyone." Megan Rapinoe: "It was like, well, nobody likes women sports and nobody wants to watch it. Now, all of a sudden we're gonna use a vulnerable group of people in the trans community to be like, oh, well, we're just protecting the sport and we care so much about it."

Sophie Cunningham just became a hero to every young girl who still wants a fair shot. She doubled down HARD: “I said what I said… keeping biological men out of women’s sports. I think it’s common sense. I think I’ll always believe in that. It’s really important to protect children and that’s little girls… That’s why you have Title IX. That’s why you have some of the greats in women’s sports.” While Megan Rapinoe and the usual suspects melt down calling it an “attack on women,” Sophie is out here defending the very thing that built women’s sports in the first place. Zero biological men in the WNBA right now. Zero women in the NBA. Funny how that works. Young female athletes are flooding her with thank-yous: “Watching Sophie say it out loud that girls shouldn’t have to give up fair competition or our privacy meant more than she’ll ever know… Thank you for going first.” This is what courage looks like in 2026. Protect the girls. Protect the sport. Title IX wasn’t a suggestion.

I continue to share my progress in my recovery after this massive stroke and the coma and pneumonia that kept me in the hospital for over three months in the beginning of the year I hope that by sharing my experience strength and hope, I can help others who’ve been through something similar. That you are not alone!!! I admit it is an absolute miracle that I am here with you. So I am smiling and willing to do whatever it takes to improve my health. And As in every day I have to thank you for the prayers and support that helped carry me through and this far.
