I think the problem is people only see Waymo because they look so ugly and they have those huge LiDARs on top so they believe every self driving car has to have those things They're sleeping on the fact that every Tesla made after 2018/19 can and will be able to drive autonomously or at least FSD supervised And unlike Waymks which are geo-locked or restricted, my 4 year old Model 3 & Y w/ HW3 is doing some insane drives and I've engaged FSD almost everywhere I drive to, yeah the public will find out and they'll be shocked why they didn't believe it sooner

People dramatically underestimate what needs to be done to get a 35 thousand dollar car to drive itself everywhere vs getting a 150-200,000 dollar car to drive in only pre mapped areas.

Waymo is obviously dominating the autonomous rideshare market right now, considering Tesla offers 0 autonomous rides per year. Doesn't mean Waymo will always be the leader, I believe Tesla will win. I do think dismissing Waymo like this just makes Tesla fans look silly.

People who say Waymo dominates only has been in certain city centres where they operate. $TSLA FSD can literally operate anywhere. Starting in June and depending on how fast they get past regulations, things will change very fast.

We just visited family in LA and saw hundreds of Waymo's - many with no driver or 'supervisor' inside. Tesla seems to be nothing but a bag of promises.

Being that waymo pays more than $250,000 per car to be built out, why wouldn't they partner with Tesla and buy a way less expensive car for their fleets going forward?

Their product is their sensor suite and service. Tesla uses its own sensor suite and is going to launch their own service. There’s nothing to really partner on

We actually took the bins out on Temple street side. But I’ve still seen things that scarred me for life. One time my mate threw a glass bottle at one of their heads and he chased him and was trying to boot the door in on the Mosquito bar. We had some laughs working there we got up to all kinds. There was loads of us. Still mates with some of them to this day. Best years of my life

But with the Tesla Semi, one single charge will get you there for $275." DHL thinks the higher upfront cost of the Tesla Semi will be more than worth it over the lifetime of the vehicle with big fuel and maintenance savings.
