If you're wondering, who the heck is 🇺🇾 Julia Paternain?! Allow the World Championship bronze medalist to introduce herself. • Has three passports and a green card. Was born in Mexico. Her whole family is from Uruguay, where most of them live, except for her, her mom, and her dad. • Moved to England when she was 2 years old and ran for Great Britain at the European U23 Championships • She ran in the NCAA at Penn State for two years before transferring to Arkansas during the pandemic. She competed for the Razorbacks for three years. • Moved to California and took a little bit of a break while she was trying to figure out what to do with running • Visited her first Krissy Gear and loved Flagstaff, Arizona. On Sunday, I was surprised by Vincent Mauri’s 2:05:53 marathon debut at the Glass City Marathon in Toledo. The fastest ever by an American. Then, we dove into his Strava and I spoke to him about his self-coached training today. I’ve never been more fascinated by someone’s approach. Some things that stood out… -5.6 miles at 5:48/mi the day before his marathon -Ripped a few 200s closing in 26 five days before - 19 miles at 5:31 seven days out…on the treadmill -Wasn’t even planning on Toledo until Carmel was canceled – Does almost all his training in non-carbon-plated shoes Gosh, the marathon is such a cool event. If you're thinking about buying Marathon but were hating on it before... Just come play with us. So many people were unsure about Marathon going into it. Yeah, we were all confused about this game being yet another extraction shooter, but Bungie really delivered an incredible experience. You were right to be hesitant, 100%. But I think we're all seeing that Bungie is stepping outside of the usual extraction shooter tropes to create something that's unique. If someone tries to give you a hard time for revising your opinion based on new information, tag me and I'll yell at 'em for you. Come play Marathon! Video below is a blue-tier agility + knife speed kit that I ran last night (until I charged a duo with snipers.)

matthew's thoughts about zb1's last concert as 9... 🦊 how was it during makcon (encore con d3)? it was fascinating really... i... on the 2nd day it felt like everything hit me at once, like "wah... this is really the last concert" so i was really sad on the 2nd day and on the last day i was sad but it was kinda... i looked at this (view on stage/overall surroundings?) for the last time and just took in the beauty of it. i was so thankful and i think i kinda just looked at it prettily “one last time”
