Crazy what AI agents can do right now. I asked Claude Code to autonomously code me a Gold strategy from scratch inside NinjaTrader 8. It compiled it, debugged it on its own, ran the backtest, and came back with a profitable system. Probably only 0.1% of the industry is doing this.

MCP is mind-blowing. Here is a genius setup that will earn you a promotion with your manager. I have multiple data sources: data in S3, MySQL, and local files. Using Spice (an open-source project), I can co-locate all of that data behind a single SQL endpoint and augment it using MCP. Before, accessing data was slow, and I had to make multiple requests to get anything. After using Spice, I can query the data much faster (since it's mirrored locally), and I don't have to worry about where the data is coming from. Spice acts as an MCP server, so I can connect to it from my IDE or the Claude Desktop app and have access to all the data. But even more cool than that: Spice also acts as an MCP client, so it can connect to other MCP servers. This is where things get really interesting! Watch the video. I'm querying multiple data sources from my IDE and using the Google Maps MCP server for driving directions.

"I built a $250,000 SaaS in 4 months with AI and barely knew how to code." I'm starting to think that a coding ide like cursor/windsurf can become the everything app for creators this custom mode wrote a linkedin post that reads better than tools charging $50+ a month it can do it's own research using web searches or using the brave mcp with a free api key it's not hard to imagine that I could also hook this up to an mcp to create posts on linkedin and have my publishing schedule managed from a json file inside cursor yes, linkedin is cringe, but this is just the beginning of what will be possible soon i'm not gonna say that mcp is "wild" or "this changes everything" but it's quite exciting to see how this is going to be used

Jim Simons’ fund was trading tens of thousands of strategies. I realized I’d been thinking about this the wrong way the whole time. I was focusing too much on individual strategies instead of on how fast I could test and discard them. I asked Claude Code to autonomously code strategies for me from scratch. It compiled them, debugged them on its own, ran the backtests, and came back with results. I did that over 500 times in 2 months. Most were garbage. Twelve survived. A full hedge fund in a single file. A normal trader tests maybe one idea per week, 50 per year if they’re serious. I do 50 in a day. Jim Simons didn’t win by having the best single strategy. He won because his team could test and discard faster than anyone else. As he put it: “If everyone is trying to solve the same problem, don’t do that.” I don’t need a team of PhDs. Just Claude Code on a laptop. The rest are still watching courses from scam gurus with no verified track record. Probably only 0.1% of the industry is doing this.

Claude Code is terrible at UI design and everyone knows it so this guy fixed it by building an MCP that gives Claude its own AI design tool instead of going back and forth between a design platform and your code editor, Claude now creates the designs itself and drops them straight into your codebase the MCP has full context of your existing design system and project so everything it generates actually matches what you already have. one command to set up and it installs the MCP and skill files so Claude instantly knows how to use it if you're tired of the same Inter font, purple gradient, card grid layout on every project, this is definitely worth trying

Your coding copilot will use this server with the Codacy CLI to check every line of code it generates. The way this works is pretty awesome (assuming you are using Cursor): 1. You ask Cursor to generate some code 2. Cursor writes the code 3. Cursor then calls Codacy's MCP Server to check it 4. The MCP Server will use the Codacy CLI to find any issues 5. Cursor will fix the issues and call the MCP server again 6. When the code passes all checks, you are done Level of effort on your side: literally zero! Code quality and security because of this: 100x better! Codacy has been doing this for a long, long time, and their Guardrails MCP Server checks for a lot of potential issues: • Security issues • Quality standards • Pattern violations • Linting issues You can see more information about the extension here: I recorded a quick video to show you how it works. Been using Paper MCP with Claude Code today and I’m kind of blown away! I tested importing Figma designs, then iterating on them using live Supabase data (via MCP). It genuinely feels like a glimpse of where design is heading. would love Paper to add something like agentation from Benji Taylor, so Claude Code can target frames and layers directly.
