We Kurds are still struggling for our freedom and rights — but we are not naive to fall for this. Just a month ago, after a full decade of partnership with the US in Syria, we were betrayed. Our cities and towns were attacked by the Syrian government while US Ambassador Tom Barrack worked in the interest of Turkey and the Syrian ISIS army. We love the American people and still believe America represents the free world. But we won’t fall for another betrayal. Once the dust settles, we will simply be sold again in another deal to Tehran, Baghdad or Ankara.

To understand the history of the Kurds, one must first look at the price we have paid. We were the ones fighting on the front lines against ISIS, the world's greatest threat; yet, we are the ones still forced to pay a price for our fundamental rights. The reports you sign are merely statistics of the suffering we have endured for generations. Our children want to look at the sky and see airplanes as symbols of freedom, not as threats. We are the most ancient reality of this geography; we were here before the states surrounding us existed, and we will continue to exist

Kurds are an ancient, unbreakable nation from the mountains of Mesopotamia, the heart of Kurdistan, a land divided and occupied by Turkey, Iran, Iraq, and Syria. Kurds number 35–45 million, speak their own language, celebrate Newroz as the eternal flame of resistance, and remain the world’s largest people without a state. Kurds have fought empires across centuries, survived genocides like Anfal and the chemical horror of Halabja, and still defend their identity and freedom with unmatched courage against every form of oppression.

Pathetic liars. Kurds aren't there. Kurds' historical homeland is a small portion of Zagros Mountains. They were introduced to Anatolia by Yavuz Sultan Selim in the early 1500s.

Kurds will no longer operate under the old equation. The model of “sacrifice first, recognition maybe later” is over. Great powers may still try to treat Kurds as temporary partners. Regional states may still prefer Kurds who are stateless but controllable. But within Kurdish society, the threshold for guarantee-less sacrifice is falling. The new principle is clear: First recognition and guarantees, then partnership. No one can use Kurds for free. No one can impose a single option on us. No one can claim unlimited mandate on behalf of the Kurdish people. Every gain must become institutional. Because the issue is not momentary excitement, but historical resilience. @UN @Europarl_EN @HRW @Kurdistan

The Kurds are one of the largest stateless ethnic groups in the world — brave, resilient people who've been fighting for rights and autonomy for decades across Turkey, Iraq, Syria, and Iran. 🇮🇶🇮🇷🇹🇷🇸🇾

This map is inaccurate. For instance, Syrian Kurds do not occupy such a vast, contiguous geographical area, and the yellow shading depicting a unified Kurdish territory across northern Syria is misleading. These northern regions are characterized by a diverse demographic fabric with an Arab majority, while the Kurdish social and demographic weight is concentrated in three distinct, non-contiguous enclaves: Afrin, Kobani, and Qamishli. Given these geographical realities, it would be prudent to involve specialized consultants within your team to ensure such complexities are precisely represented.

Kurds are the indigenous people being opressed by Syria, Turkey, Iran and Iraq for millennia. They deserve a nation state and have a population greater than 70 million. The British and French divided the Kurds land to ensure ages of instability and to grow its military industry.

Which Kurds? Separatist Kurds in the region incorporating Northern Iraq, Eastern Turkey, and small parts of North-Western Iran? You know, the ones who've been fighting for their own separate nation for decades? Or, do you mean the Iranian Kurds who are fighting against the IRGC to restore a republic, or monarchy, or a free state of Iran? Or, perhaps other Kurds in the region? These guys are just Iranians calling for the Shaw's son to return.

There are groups of people around the world who are considered acceptable simply "because they fought against the Turks" (or are still at war with them).Their poverty, low level of general education, or lack of civilization is irrelevant. The fact that they fought against the Turks is a mark of status for them.

The Kurds are your toys, played with when you need them, discarded when you don't. They're so naive they fall for your lies every time. By the way, you forgot to mention, these are the PKK and PJAK, Marxist terrorist groups involved in drug trafficking, and they are a major source of drugs for Europe. They are responsible for the deaths of 40,000 Kurds and Turks in Türkiye since 1980. Many Kurdish girls and boys have been kidnapped from Kurdish villages and forced to fight for them. Know who they are; it's in their blood, they'll sell anything, treachery is in their veins.
