On Sunday, we waited on the 16th tee for Bryson’s group. Tommy’s group in front of him, played the entire 602 yard par 5, and were off the green before his group arrived at the tee to tee off. DeChambeau’s pace of play is absolutely glacial!

Assume 40 shots other than a putt per round. Instead of 30 seconds to pull the trigger make it 10 seconds. That’s 800 seconds or just over 13 minutes per round. Three similar players in a 3 ball and it’s 40 minutes. It all adds up.

You can't have some guy talking with his caddie for 30 seconds then get up and hit right away and say he is faster than guy who doesn't talk to caddie is ready to play his shot and takes 30 seconds longer

2 years ago during a practice round i watched Cantlay and Schauffle play together. I live adjacent to fairway of one of the Par4s and the group following them were actually lying down in fairway waiting. When have you seen a pro’s lay down on fairway they were that disgusted
