Charlie Woods tee shot from a Junior PGA Championship event this week. You’ve really gotta be rooting for this kid every step of the way. Can’t even imagine what the pressure of expectations at that age would feel like.

I think arguing that LPGA players ON AVERAGE outdrive 15-handicap men is my hill to die on.

Use whatever method that works for you. But this is why I can’t use the line on my ball to putt. Here is a close up of Aaron Rai’s putt from today. To be fair I have no idea what Aaron Rai’s process is on the green. Not sure if he’s trusting the line of the putter face or the line of the ball. Or maybe neither. All I know is if I ever look down and see conflicting lines, I’ll start second guessing everything about my read.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again. Watching and emulating LPGA swings instead of PGA swings would do most amateurs a lot of good.

Crazy view of Scotty hitting a short-sided chip with the face wide open. These guys make this shot look so routine it’s sickening.

Everyone should copy the Snedeker pre-putt routine: - Look at the hole - Step up to the ball - Look one last time - Go I started forcing myself to do this no matter how important I thought the putt was. The quicker I did it the better. Less time for my brain to start spiraling. Same routine with the same tempo for every length putt no matter if it’s for eagle or double bogey. Completely changed my putting forever.

Does anyone else love Ryan Gerard’s move as much as I do? Ultra strong grip, whips it inside, shut face. Hard penetrating bullet cuts. Careful trying this move at home kids.

I feel like most casual viewers don’t truly appreciate how easily these guys escape tour-level rough. The courses they play have rough significantly thicker and deeper than your home muni. The ball is usually completely buried and requires extremely high clubhead speed just to advance it. They make it look routine… 🎥 credit: Frankly Frank
