@reason This is completely one sided. Libertarians don't talk about how Canada taxes the US by an exhorbitant amount making it impossible for US-based companies to compete. Why is Canada allowed to tax us but we cannot tax them? Their manufacturing grows while ours suffers.

God this account is so dumb. The tarrif is applied to the canadian company. The canadian company can make the choice to charge more to the American reseller because they are greedy cunts. and then the american reseller can make the choice to charge brad more because they are greedy cunts. Brad can then make the choice to buy from a different company that is not full of greedy cunts so then the greedy cunts eventually have to stop overcharging the customers and just eat the tariffs or lose their empire.

@reason Should a foreign corporation, that sells a good to a U.S. consumer, pay the same taxes that a U.S. corporation pays to sell the same good to a U.S. consumer?

@reason Telling that the video doesn't address the Canadian tariffs on US goods. We've been getting screwed by other countries and it's time to change that. Oh and by the way.... screw @reason

@reason Very one sided explanation. The U.S. has been paying higher tariffs to Canada to sell our goods. Tariffs can be used as a tool for leverage to get a more equitable trade deal.

You are being like a leftist and dishonest. You are not telling the whole truth of what tariffs are. Tariffs are indirect taxes and not direct taxes. They only affect imports and only of the item that incurs a tariff. NO-ONE needs to pay them. You are also not explaining that Canada and Mexico are also imposing tariffs on American goods. This is also a horrible example. You can easily buy another whiskey in America that is not tariffed and is miles better then a whiskey from Canada or Mexico. True story 🤣

@reason Canadian whiskey is probably the funniest example for this argument one could possibly make. Nobody wants that 💩 when we have proper bourbon made right here in the USA 🇺🇸

Oku offers you the best rates, guaranteed. Compare us to 1inch and see the difference!

@reason The tariff is based on wholesale price. Funny how nobody mentions that.

@reason But that whiskey made in America shipping to Canada already costs 40% more for all the other taxes that aren’t called “tariffs!” Thought Libertarians were better than this?
