Previously, Eddie had been up to 93 once. We came to a consensus in the fall to just shoot to be healthy for college and not worry about our high school season. Without rushing back, Eddie has now pitched twice for us (his last outing) and has thrown harder than ever. I watched my son Evan Lewis walk to the top of a D1 pitching mound for the first time. It took him 4 years to throw his first D1 pitch, and he earned 2-D1 scholarships. Why so long? 3 surgeries (UCL brace, olecranon break (elbow), and a bone spur. He went to Louisana Tech after leaving HS. He pitched in the D1 Junior College World Series for Gaston College Baseball & committed to Delaware Baseball. 2 weeks at DE, he broke his elbow. I’ve never seen a person work so hard for their dream. I want to congratulate my son and thank the University of Delaware coaches who believed in his dream. Greg Mamula

Getting the weight off his injured legs while also promoting his circulation is critical to his healing. His first time around the pool, Veer was a bit hesitant, but we’ll patiently wait for him to build his confidence and work up to longer hydrotherapy sessions. Veer’s recovery will require ongoing support from people who care deeply about his future. Will you start a monthly pledge today to help ensure Veer gets the care he needs?

One of the two persons who was freed shares his wild story of how he was brutally beaten by the military to a point he couldn't feel his body and even walk during the military swoop in 2017 to arrest Major Mahama's murderers. At the time, his wife was nurturing a three month old baby. He added that he was never close to the scene, didn't even know what Major Mahama looked like, yet he spent 7 years of his life in prison while being innocent.
