People are always trying to say something is offensive so they can feel important.

As a Mexican this isn’t offensive at all!!

Fashion, by definition, is cultural appropriation. Otherwise we’d all be wearing clothes from 1000 years ago.

As a mexican myself, i know those clothes dont represent any inherently negative prejudice or negqtive historical background. So, I dont find it offensive either. What I find offensive and annoying, is YOU MOCKING people who are just trying to be respectful of foreign cultures.

Having some fun & dressing up respectfully in other people's garb should be classified as cultural appreciation vs cultural appropriation. Every Cinqo de Mayo we make killer Margs & tacos & get together with friends to celebrate the Mexican culture, not appropriate it
