Why do these people think that making hollow threats is effective? It does nothing but damage credibility. People making the threats look like losers. The proper response is to DO something and to make it quick and clear and painful. THEN say something such as, “Next time it will be worse.” THAT is deterrence. Anything else is whining, and is the opposite of deterrence.

Just more talk to calm down the angry Russian people! If they wanted to do anything, they will turn Bankovya, the Government quarter into a large crater! What did they do to retaliate for the Corcus City Hall attack? Daria Dugina? Tatarsky? Nothing .. just talk!

Could this have happened without the active knowledge, approval and provision of intelligence by the CIA? Doubt it. If Moscow simply punishes the Ukrainian proxies, it is playing exactly into Washington’s strategy. The conflict must be carried to the American homeland

The US and Israel have developed a geopolitical strategy centered on Biden’s “lame duck” status until the more ( lucid, realistic, responsible, etc.) Trump assumes office. The US is taking advantage of the predisposition of its rivals to “wait out” the lame duck period and not escalate any situation, in hopes that things will return to “normal” once Trump assumes office. In effect, the US and Israel are getting in “free punches.” These “free punches” can be very damaging and cause irreversible harm. It is a very poor strategy to leave them unanswered.

1) Russia will do nothing, because there just isn't much Russia can do. 2) It's a war, targeting the enemies generals is legit. Russia would be right to do the same thing.

Russia is starting to be like Arabia - flapping its beak at nothing. There must be a CIA headquarters somewhere in Ukraine; shoot it with Oreshnik.
