As per mine,in mpox cases,may be fever will also seen in patients. In the matter of spreads cases of mpox. How many cases infected within family members or in health workers who treat the mpox patients? Should find out this exactly,so that in public persons fear can be reduced.

I would have thought that at the first opportunity Dr. Atul Goel would have corrected the another that the disease has been renamed by WHO as Mpox. This is following the new practice not to stigmatize any country, any region or any species, a practice which was started with covid

In #DRC alone, more than 4500 cases of #mpox and almost 300 deaths have been reported this year. That is triple the number reported at this time last year. The recent surge in cases and deaths among children is of particular concern, along with the re-emergence of Clade One in central Africa. We need to strengthen surveillance and diagnostic capacity, ensure robust community engagement, and widen access to vaccines where they are needed for people at risk to stop the spread of mpox.
