Everything's better with a British accent

I hope this woman isn't flying to London or Birmingham. She might be a bit disappointed!

Years ago, arriving in America on holiday as a teenager, my mum and I were questioned a lot by the airport immigration guy as he checked our passports. Eventually he said ‘I don’t actually need to ask you guys this many questions, I just like hearing you speak’. 🙃

Not sure about this!! So British Airways promoting the fact they will not employ staff with regional accents or anyone migrated to the UK 🤔

On my first trip to London with BA, I was struck by the flight attendants' elegant British accents. These days, however, encountering that classic style of speech seems much less common.

Years ago when I lived in London, I tried to put on a British 🇬🇧 accent Lost it the moment I left UK Every time I travel by @VirginAtlantic, I perk up over the “coffee, tea or me” joke c_'est la vie

The correct answer should be: "Absolutely not, I dont mind."

I was once allowed in the cockpit on BA in flight. It was marvelous. The two pilots were friendly. They used to serve in Royal Air Force, they said. Good old days in 1990s.

My mother has a very distinctive Northeast Texas accent and when I've been with her in NYC and London, she's been asked several times on the subway and in restaurants to "please just keep talking" with big smiles.

Except bullshit comes off as arrogant and entitled when spoken with an Airstrip One accent - and stupid things sound that much stupider - like when Keir Starmer says they are going to beat Russia…

Surely, @British_Airways has more to offer… maybe start with providing better service?
