So now we know why Julius Malema couldn't understand why Feroz Khan should appear before the Ad Hoc Committee. When I called for accountability over Major-General Feroz Khan in 2024, I wasn't met with answers instead I was met with a lawyer's letter demanding that I retract my statements and "cease and desist." The concerns were already there: questionable procurement, the Secret Service Account, alleged media smear campaigns, and allegations of defeating the ends of justice. Today, the Madlanga Commission heard evidence alleging that Khan used Julius Malema, through an intermediary, to table parliamentary questions aimed at pressuring the then Inspector-General of Intelligence. Even more interesting, Malema previously deposed an affidavit distancing himself from the contents of conversations between Khan and Mo Sayed. Yet today's evidence suggests he may have been far more involved than previously understood. Perhaps that's why there was such resistance in the Ad Hoc Committee to Khan being called to testify. Accountability only works when everyone is prepared to answer questions and not just ask them. Andrea Johnson’s husband works at the same offices of Crime Intelligence as General Khan, Khan sends messages to Andrea “Hi Gorgeous, I miss you dearest”. The main thing Chair Madlanga is querying about this in camera application brought by General Khan's lawyers is that their explanation is swaak, they only want issues relating to the Aeroton drug bust to be heard in public,anything else to be heard in camera. Everything else they mention so far, is the relationship between Khan and Sayed and how exposing that will have intelligence or security implications. Chair is asking what exactly is it about Sayed and Khan that cannot be heard in public, and how can they not substantiate what else about Khan's evidence would compromise national security. Vusi Shongwe says if you add numbers of Ad Hoc committee members of MKP, ANC and DA, they would outnumber other parties and get General Khan, except what happened that day is that the CIC was most vocal in getting Khan to not come but the other parties sided with him. So, how is it Malema who was responsible for not having Khan appear before the committee if others shared his views? Is he suggesting that ANC, MKP and DA agreed to get Khan there or they shared same sentiments with the EFF or Shongwe just wanted to drop Juju’s name?

I somehow feel the part of evidence that relates to General Khan and Kadwa required senior Advocates. It's getting complicated and needs connecting of dots. 😫 Anyway on this clip Colonel Sebola is saying he never saw General Khan on the scene. He then says he didn't even know him then. He was told later by General Kadwa that they were together there with other Generals. Phakula yesterday said when Khan arrived, he took over the scene. So clearly these are competing versions because up to now, we were under the impression that Sebola was in charge of the scene. So...🤷🏽‍♀️ #MadlangaCommission
