Parsi: There is no doubt that we have now, after 20 years of hearing from the hawks, that the only solution is to go to war, we tried it. One third of the U.S. Navy was there in the region. This was not a small operation. This was a major operation short of an actual invasion, and it failed. There is just no doubt that the military operation was not a success. And hopefully, at a minimum, we will not be having that debate again. It has now been settled. It's no longer a theoretical or academic topic. It has been tried, proven to be a failure.

NCERT imparted knowledge to them and charted their future...In this entire matter, I felt that the reputation of NCERT has suffered a blow. The words used by the Supreme Court - conspiracy, scandalous were not needed at all. If there were differences between the two institutions, they could have been called in and spoken with...This could have been rectified. NCERT amends its books every year as per the suggestions that come in...We are all humans and to err is human. Supreme Court too makes mistakes. When a person is acquitted after 15 years and it is said that they are innocent, imagine what would that individual feel. But nobody is taken to task for the incorrect judgment. But because the same Supreme Court has done absolutely nothing to ensure that the Election Commission's own appointment is a non-partisan way, and given the manner in which the Election Commission behaves these days, it is absolutely true that now BJP decides who will be the voter, and on the basis of their votes, BJP will say, "We have one popular mandate."
