Today Rows launched its AI analyst. It's able to: • Answers questions about your data • Summarise any dataset • Run deep dive analysis As a finance major, this is the biggest AI update to spreadsheets I've seen.

1/ Ask questions Want to know something about your data? Just ask. So what: You can skip the formulas and go straight for the insights.

2/ Deep dives Go beneath the surface to see the trends in the dataset. So what: Identify patterns which the human eye could skip over.

3/ Quick insights Quick insights let you understand what's happening at a glance. • Summarise key takeaways • Get a birds-eye view of any table • Access the formulas to see what's under the hood So what: You can immediately copy the insights and take them where you want.

Rows is currently the only spreadsheet with the capabilities of an AI Analyst and a native OpenAI integration. Whilst it has the first-mover advantage, I'm interested to see how Microsoft Excel and Google Sheets respond.
