Excited to launch Figma Motion! I joined this effort a few months ago, and one of the many things I’ve been able to design so far: Motion Styles! You’ll be able to save and distribute your own styles very soon. But to get you started, we have 36 premade styles ready for you to play with. We have a ton of stuff in the pipeline, and are working hard to make this the best motion tool out there. Let us know what you need! We’re listening.

I'm building a Figma plugin to generate design system variables/tokens 🛠️ After sharing the first demo, it grew too big, making it hard to manage and add new features. So, I restarted the project and cleaned up the code to make it easier to handle. Here’s detailed demo - It generate variable from preset and all alow to customize. So my decision to opt out was for a few reasons. As you all know, I’ve always taken the approach of working with the organization. I’ve been in 1 place for 14 years. It’s more of a family to me than anything. Like you’re talking people I’ve been in relationships with over the course of the last 14 years. I view Golden State more like Michigan State, like it’s more like an alma mater to me as I’ve been somewhere for 14 years. So, when in a position to try to help better our team, to try to help better this organization, I’m always intrigued by that route. So opting out, I think for us, it leaves optionality. It gives optionality. It allows to possibly do some things. Joe Lacob, Peter Guber, the ownership group has never been one to shy away from doing things that help this team get better and if I can stand on that same side and have a hand in helping this organization be in a better position, I’m always willing to do that. So it gives everyone optionality from me opting out and we’ll figure it out from here on what’s the best course moving forward. So I feel great about it and we’ll see where it goes from here.”
