Responsible AI should not feel like the path of most resistance. That was the strongest idea from my SAS Innovate conversation with Reggie Townsend, leading Data Ethics, Governance, and Social Impact at SAS Software. Reggie framed governance not as a compliance layer, but as a way to scale human judgment. Too often, we innovate first and govern later. Model selected. Agent deployed. Process built. Then governance arrives at the end and feels like friction. Bolt it on after the fact, and resistance is guaranteed. The opportunity: design responsible AI, so it becomes intuitive, action-oriented, and useful in the flow of work. That is what Reggie meant by making responsibility "irresistible." Second point: Use cases must lead. When everyone can access the same models, differentiation will not come from the technology. It will come from how leaders define outcomes, govern applications, and connect business value to institutional trust. The risk does not live in the model. The value does not live in the model. Both live in the use case. For CEOs and boards, this is the shift: from model-first oversight to outcome-first accountability. Better questions before scaling AI: - What human decision are we shaping? - What business outcome are we improving? - What risk are we containing? - What judgment are we extending? Responsible AI becomes strategic when it helps people make better decisions, faster, with greater confidence. Most leaders can't see where governance sits inside their AI operating model. SAS AI Navigator makes it visible: Design for the human. Not only the technology.

Some personal hot takes from AI: engineer Miami follows... 1. Software development is a dead-end profession because anyone can be a software developer now. 2. Anyone can use Cursor or any other tool and generate code. Being a coder and being a software engineer are different. 3. Computers used to be gated; now everyone has the power to make computers malleable. Everyone is a software developer now, but that does not mean they are software engineers 4. If you cannot demonstrate how a coding agent works, you are just a consumer and have imposed an artificial glass ceiling on your career as a software engineer. 5. If you are curious, you will have a job. If you have not been curious in the last two years, you are replaceable. 6. SaaS per-seat economics may become unstable as customers need fewer people to achieve results, prompting founders to think about new unit economics 7. Most companies will take two or three years (or more!) to figure out AI transformation. 8. Some companies are already building AI native teams of five to ten people who can build with the grain of AI 9. There will be an explosion in the number of software developers. Software development is now essentially free, and tokens are cheaper than humans 10. Not enough engineers know what it means to be a product engineer 11. JIRA ticket monkeys are cooked 12. If your company has banned AI, you should quit that company 13. AI is more like a musical instrument than just a tool play with it, make discoveries, build intuition learn where AI is good and where it fails

WHY AMBIENCE? The theme of this years Reboot Camp is: AMBIENCE - Manifesting the presence of God You might be wondering, “Why ambience?” When the bible uses the term “the presence of God”, there are three things it could be referring to: The first is the “Omnipresence of God” This means God is everywhere at once. David describing this said “Where can I go from Your Spirit? Or where can I flee from Your presence? If I ascend into heaven, You are there; If I make my bed in hell, behold, You are there.” (Psalm 139:7-8) The second is the “Indwelling presence of God” The is exclusive to the believer in Christ. It refers to us receiving the Holy Spirit at salvation. The third is the “Manifest presence of God” Whilst God is everywhere at once, based on his Omnipresence, He doesn't manifest everywhere. This is why Jacob could say “God was here and i did not know” (Genesis 28:16). He knew God was Omnipresent, but at a point in time, God chose to make his presence manifest in certain place. As a believer in Christ, not only are you to be familiar with the indwelling presence of God in you, but because God lives in you, His presence can be manifest through you as well. The Psalms let us know that because God dwelt in the midst of the Israelites, the sea saw it and fled, the Jordan was turned back and even the mountains skipped like rams (Psalm 114:1-4). Through the manifest presence of God, you can experience tangible miracles often. It isn’t exclusive to Men of God alone, you also can be a carrier of God’s presence! This is what God wants to do at this years Reboot Camp, He wants you to be an envoy of his ambience! Are you ready??

🚨This video is disturbing… and everyone needs to watch what is happening. ICE agents are using tactics that are putting people in impossible situations. And if we don’t stop this escalation, more people are going to die. Kansas enacted the HALO Act, which makes it a crime for people to knowingly get within 25 feet of law enforcement officers performing certain duties. That may sound reasonable on paper. Until you see how ICE agents are weaponizing it. In this video, a public observer drove into an apartment complex parking lot. Once she was inside, ICE agents boxed her in with vehicles, and then began demanding that she move because she was supposedly within 25 feet of them. She tells them she is stuck. She explains she cannot move. The agent ignores her. He tells her to back up… but she tells him there is a vehicle behind her, and she cannot. She is trapped in a situation ICE created. Her options? Attempt to drive through agents and their unmarked vehicles… and risk them claiming she used her vehicle as a weapon. Or stay where she is… and risk being arrested. This is how people get hurt. Law enforcement is supposed to de-escalate situations… not create impossible choices where a U.S. citizen has to choose between an action that could get them arrested… or killed. And everyone needs to be paying attention to this. Because when government agents are given more power, fewer limits, and more ways to justify escalation, this doesn’t just end with immigrants. It creates a government where anyone can be trapped in an impossible situation… and where your rights only exist if the people with power decide to honor them.

Today we're back in Urumqi and, since I'm famously interested by the topic of China's governance, my good friend Frieda Li - who is a party member and a reporter from Xinjiang - is showing me around the way things are organized here, administration-wise. We visited this morning a local community center, which fulfills a very unique role in China's governance: it's basically an all-service station for the people, if they need help in their life, and a place that can identify problems in society that need addressing at a higher level. The range of services this place provides is pretty incredible: employment services (if you're looking for a job), basic medical services, legal issues, etc. Virtually any issue you need help with in your daily life, you can come here. They even have a shelter if you somehow don't have a place to sleep for the night (if say you got your bag stolen while traveling here). And by the way, I asked, they also serve foreigners: if as a foreigner, tourist or otherwise, you have an issue in China and need help, you can head to your local community center and they'll assist you. I asked how this place differs from 12345, a government-run hotline that also fulfills a similar role in that you can call it if you have any problem that the government can solve. Their answer is that 12345 only has a coordination role, in that it acts as the liaison between people and various government agencies that can help them or answer their questions. This place however has more teeth: it can directly solve issues itself, not as a liaison but as a direct executor - they have the authority to handle things on the spot. Most impressively, this place is entirely run by volunteers, most of them party members. They don't get a salary but do get food, and accommodation (if they volunteer from elsewhere in China). As I understand it, in China's system, it helps your CV if you aspire to a career in the government if you've volunteered in a place like this for a few years. But that's not the case of everyone: we met An Jingbo, the man running this center (pictured), and he's clearly doing it out of simple desire to help his community. He's been running the center as a volunteer for 7 years and, speaking with him, the man is obviously extremely passionate about his work here. Even children can volunteer in these centers, starting from 10 years old - for instance by helping the elderly or orienting people in touristic spots. I'm actually considering it as a summer activity for my elder daughter (I asked and she could do it): great for kids to have volunteering experience and it'd help her understand Chinese society better. China has hundreds of thousands such centers all over the country. One thousand in Urumqi alone according to An Jingbo. Lastly, another role this place fulfills is reporting up if there are systemic issues that need to be solved at the policy level. As we were explained, they have direct links with the local People's Congress and if there's an issue that needs to be solved at their level, they report it to them. I asked An Jingbo if China is a democracy in his opinion: his reply is that this community center he runs is an illustration of China's democracy in action. Literally run by the people, for the people: ordinary citizens volunteering to help their neighbors navigate daily life, while simultaneously feeding information back up to the People's Congress about what problems need solving at the policy level. Democracy understood not as the act of voting every few years, but as a living system where the people both serve and shape governance on a daily basis.

If You Want to Finally UNDERSTAND how to use GAMMA EXPOSURE (GEX) , just Imagine Walking Into a Bread Shop🥖 A introduction to how to ACTUALLY trade with GEX Every morning on your way to work, you stop by the same neighborhood bakery. For days, you've noticed the baker puts exactly 10 loaves of bread on the shelves before opening. It's consistent. Every day, there are 10 loaves available for customers to buy. Then one Sunday, something changes. Instead of putting out 10 loaves, the baker stocks 100 loaves before opening. That should immediately catch your attention. Why? Because the baker is increasing the amount of product available for customers to purchase. He has supplied more inventory because he expects more demand. If he didn't believe more customers were coming, there would be no reason to fill the shelves with ten times as much bread. Now think of the baker as the market maker. The bread is liquidity. The customers are traders. When Daily Net Gamma increases, market makers are doing something similar. They are increasing their long gamma exposure, which adds liquidity to the market. Just like the baker stocked more bread, market makers are supplying more liquidity because they anticipate increased buying activity. Now imagine the opposite. You walk into the bakery expecting the usual 10 loaves, but instead there are only 5. The baker hasn't run out of bread by accident. He's chosen to supply less inventory because he expects fewer customers. He's reduced the amount of product available. That reduction tells you something about his expectations. The same principle applies to Daily Net Gamma. When Daily Net Gamma decreases, market makers are reducing long gamma or increasing short gamma, removing liquidity from the market. Just as the baker stocked fewer loaves because he expected less demand, market makers are supplying less liquidity because they expect weaker buying. I use it to understand what market makers are expecting. An increase in Daily Net Gamma tells me dealers are adding liquidity, creating a more supportive environment for bullish price action. A decrease tells me they're removing liquidity, creating an environment where bullish moves have less support and downside risk becomes more likely. The final step is confirmation. Just because the baker stocked 100 loaves doesn't guarantee customers will buy them. You still have to watch people walk through the door. In the market, that's Net Volume. If Daily Net Gamma is increasing and Net Volume begins expanding positively, market makers' expectations are being confirmed by actual buying. If Daily Net Gamma is decreasing and Net Volume turns increasingly negative, the reduction in liquidity is being confirmed by selling pressure. Daily Net Gamma tells you what the market maker expects. Net Volume tells you whether the customers actually showed up. When you understand the relationship between those two, you're no longer guessing where the market might go. You're reading the expectations of the market makers and waiting for traders to confirm them.

(1/5) 🗣️There is another issue. Now that I meet you here, may I ask you about when BK gave an interview that may effect someone’s feeling, whom could be emotional on him saying that he wasn’t jealous and that you are not related. What would you like to say about this? PP: I’m single. Whether or not he’s jealous, it’s totally up to him. Asked if this has affected my feeling, no it hasn’t. For me, we’ve known each other for so long. Ten years have created so many good memories. It’s alright either if he’s jealous or not. 🗣️Many fans are left hurt by this. PP: Fans hurt? Both of us are wishing each other well. I always wish him well. I view that the friendship we have for each other is so good and it’s been so long. He’s always significant to me. He’s someone whom I always wish him well. 🗣️Many said this is the end of you both being an imaginary couple. PP: We are someone who understands each other very much. Something like that. 🗣️After that day that he said it, have you guys talked (about this)? PP: Have we talked? Actually we have met. But if you asked whether we’ve talked about this matter or not, no we haven’t. 🗣️Many admire your cordial friendship. PP: I’m glad. In my life, I have, I’m 27 years old this year and I’ve know him for 10 years. It’s already half of my life. 🗣️You wish each other well. PP: He’s someone that I always wish him well. This video is going to make my fellow Arkansas Republicans mad. ALL of them. You will fall into 2 groups: Group 1) Those who are mad at what the party is doing. Group 2) Those who are mad that I’m publicly admonishing what the party is doing. You know what? If you fall into group 2… YOU’RE THE PROBLEM! The straw that broke the camel’s back: A gentleman who I have found to be nothing but respectful and determined… man who has always treated me kindly… a man who has pursued passionately what he believes to be an issue central to the preservation of Liberty - paper ballots and election integrity - now will be arrested, finger printed, and have a mug shot taken, all for exit polling regarding a ballot referendum on paper ballots at a polling location. That man is COL Conrad Reynolds . There’s a lot Conrad and I agree on, and plenty we don’t. But we definitely agree that government is SUPPOSED to work for us, not the other way around and that election integrity and security aren’t just buzz words or partisan matters but actual real world goals that should be aggressively pursued and jealously defended. Here’s the kicker. If convicted, Conrad can NEVER run for public office again in Arkansas. See the rub here? Isn’t that convenient? Bottom line, there is right and there is wrong. And this whole situation, when taken in context to everything else that has transpired, sure seems wrong. I’m aware of all the consequences I may face saying all of this, but screw it, enough is enough. You either want honest people like me around, or you don’t. I’ll be honest either way. If you wish to support Conrad, there will be a prayer gathering, Wednesday October 15th at 8:30am at the Independence County Courthouse and Jail in Batesville where he is set to be booked. Make your presence known. PS: Unrelated, but if you wonder what I’m doing here, inner axle seal sprung a small leak and gear oil has invaded the rear brake drum. It’s a small issue that later could have big consequences - much like silencing one voice. You either address it now, or it addresses you later. #ARPX
