XBOX Gen-10 details: • Microsoft's next-generation Xbox (Gen-10) is the company's most ambitious and risky gaming platform, built as a Windows 11 gaming PC with a TV-optimized, console-like interface. • It supports full backward compatibility for all Xbox One, Series X|S, and legacy games, plus any Windows 11 PC titles. • Users can exit the Xbox interface to full Windows for tasks like streaming, coding, or music production, akin to Steam Deck's Linux mode. • Core hardware features an AMD semi-custom SoC codenamed “Magnus.” • AMD CEO Lisa Su: “Development of Microsoft's next-gen Xbox featuring an AMD semi-custom SoC is progressing well to support a launch in 2027.” • 2027 launch is a "best-case scenario"; Microsoft insiders are surprised by Su's timeline, pending Windows 11 polish. • Xbox President Sarah Bond confirmed a multi-year Xbox-AMD partnership for hardware and backward compatibility. • Xbox and Windows teams collaborate for a seamless, console-like OS experience atop Windows 11. • Supports multiple storefronts: Xbox Store, Steam, and Epic Games Store, with ports to PS and Switch 2. • The "Xbox Everywhere" strategy offers hardware choices via OEM partners like ASUS (Xbox Ally preview). • OEMs (ASUS, Lenovo, and Razer) to offer a range of Xbox-branded devices at different price/performance points. • Microsoft plans its own first-party Xbox handheld in the future. • NPU-powered features like auto-generated gameplay highlight clips, testing on Xbox Ally X, and rollout in March 2026. • Emphasizes cross-play, cross-saves, and cross-purchasing via Xbox Play Anywhere to grow the industry. • First-party games ported to Steam, PlayStation, and Nintendo Switch 2. • Easier developer publishing tools; major updates at GDC 2026. • Polished software experience is critical; current Ally handhelds highlight Windows issues to fix. • Epic Games Store and Steam are expected to be part of the next Xbox’s multi-store openness, alongside Xbox’s own store. • Price is uncertain (due to tariffs and costs; OEMs for affordability), but the next Xbox may skew more premium (~$1,000)—while lower-end options may persist via partners. Also, Series S support will be extended. • Echoes the original Xbox vision of Windows in the living room; Surface-like premium ecosystem strategy. via: Windows Central Jez

Arma Reforger still has some rough edges, and many areas can be improved further. Yet, it is quite an achievement, especially for a multiplatform game! The power of Enfusion Engine combined with the passion and talent of the Arma Platform Reforger team, the great Xbox Series X and very open-minded folks at Microsoft XBOX deliver something that was in fact never achieved on consoles before (see note /): An authentic, diverse military open-world online game with support for user modifications. Big kudos to everyone at Bohemia who made it possible and the splendid Arma community. You are all indeed the best. The Enfusion-powered future of Arma is here. /note: something quite similar was achieved in 2005 on the very first Xbox 1, the actual 1, using an exploit of a replay card by our innovative Operation Flashpoint Elite community/

Draymond Green says players should be required to stay in college for 2 years before entering the NBA “I don’t think there should be one-and-done. I think what you’re teaching kids with the one-and-done rule is to go to a place for five months, be one foot in, one foot out, and then go on your way” “You’re in college for two years, and you’re committed to something for two years. A team commits to you for two years. If you’re a first round pick, you get two guaranteed years, and then there’s team options. I think it aligns with the two year thing” “You’re making a two year commitment. They’re making a two year commitment to you. It familiarizes the college student with NBA rules right away when you talk about a two year commitment. What you can do, what you need to do over the course of two years” “I would change that. The one-and-done thing has never quite been right. You get people on a campus for five or six months, they’re one foot in, they’re one foot out. I just don’t think it’s a recipe for success”

Matt Firor talks about (ZeniMax) Project Blackbird (sci-fi MMO) and why he left after it's cancellation Matt describes it as a “pretty devastating blow.” Blackbird was the game he had waited his entire career to create. “This idea around for a long time. And it was finally playable and fun.” “I think it's a missed opportunity for me for ZOS for Bethesda for Xbox. I think it would have been a fantastic game.” “The world probably would have been a better place with that game in it.” He didn’t agree with the cancellation but said he understood the reasoning: the project represented a large line item on a ledger that became subject to cost-cutting analysis. It wasn’t personal toward the individuals at Xbox/Microsoft (he noted there were many great people there), but the scale and financial pressures of a large public company made it inevitable in his view. This disappointment directly led to his decision to leave ZeniMax Online Studios after 18 years. Great interview, with lots of insightful anecdotes' via: MinnMax

How can players make a big jump next year?!?! For High School and College players… they all put in work with their coaches. Most of them have a trainer they see to put in work. So what is the separator? 1. Are you working on the right things with your coaches that are going to help you be a better player working your team and overall 2. HOW MUCH TIME DO YOU PUT IN THE GYM ON YOUR OWN. This is a HUGE SEPARATOR because this time isn’t dependent on anyone and is unlimited in how much you do. Almost every player I’ve worked with that has made a BIG JUMP has put in extra time on their own. It’s not only because of the work, but it also helps players understand their game better and gives them a bigger investment in their development. As a player you should assess that part of your development today!

$TAO Bittensor - Interview with Const. Hey Bittensor Community! I told you I would keep you informed as best as I could. I spoke with const a little while ago and asked him: Const, Covenant stepped out. That leaves three slots that need to be addressed somehow. Bittensor continues. Some noise has happened and more will probably happen. So I’d like to ask you: What are you going to be working on in the next few days as a priority? And would you like to leave a message for every alpha holder who believes in what is being built? Check his response in the video below. Share your thoughts. Your opinion matters here.

In a new interview #Microsoft's CEO Satya Nadella says “We want to be a great publisher, and a great platform provider for games, across both PC's and Xbox's.” Noting only #Xbox and PC specifically, is a departure from a 2025 interview in which he said: “We want to be everwhere on every platform...whether it's consoles, whether it's the PC, whether it's mobile, whether it's cloud gaming, or the TV, we just want to make sure the games are being enjoyed by gamers everywhere.” He's gone from saying “consoleS” plural, implicating PlayStation, Nintendo and Xbox, to now specifying Xbox and PC. Could be nothing, but it could also be an indication Xbox is considering adopting more console exclusivity going forward. Satya repeatedly talking about the importance of their IP however (like he also did in another recent interview), does give further credence to the rumours Microsoft may be looking to divest Xbox entirely in future, or at least make it more enticing for prospective buyers. Massively trimming fat with vast layoffs and studio divestments, closures etc, is also something businesses often do when they're trying to re-package a business to be easier to sell, with a focus on being cost effective in the run up to sale, vs having optimum output and release potential. Either way, it'll be interesting to see how things play out over the next several years.

In just 2.5 weeks, I conceptualised and built a playable demo for my mercenary band auto-battler roguelike, and I need your feedback. The Banners Will Fall early alpha demo is ready. You can find the link to play it in the comments. Manage a company of mercenaries in a dark fantasy world. Recruit mercenaries with grim pasts, equip them with powerful loot, and send them into danger, knowing not all of them will make it back, in this auto-battler roguelike game. After more than two decades of designing, building, and shipping software, I genuinely can't remember the last time building something felt this exciting. The game currently runs on desktop browsers only, give it a go and let me know what you think!

Del sat with Sage Steele for an emotional interview that encapsulates the thoughts and feelings of so many mothers across the country and the world. We feel this. You will feel it when you watch it. This is one of the hardest things for a mother to come to terms with - finding out that a decision they made - that trusting their doctor - could have led to harm. Compassion, support, and love are what are needed in these situations. Thank you, Sage, for bringing this to your audience.
